Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Morgan Talbot. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Morgan, appreciate you joining us today. Naming anything – including a business – is so hard. Right? What’s the story behind how you came up with the name of your brand?
The name “Feed Your Lover” began as a playful and personal Instagram handle, where I shared snapshots of my travels and the incredible meals I enjoyed with my fiancé, a talented chef. What started as a way to document our adventures soon took on a deeper meaning, especially when I stepped away from corporate America to pursue my passion. The name became a symbol of the values I hold closest—passion, commitment, and genuine connection—inspired by the bond we share and the joy we find in a great meal.
That bond stems from the night I met my fiancé when he prepared an unforgettable meal that fed far more than just my body—it fed my soul. The warmth, creativity, and connection we uncovered in each other inspired the philosophy behind Feed Your Lover: creating something authentic, meaningful, and deeply personal. Just as that meal was more than ingredients on a plate, our work is more than design and strategy—it’s about uncovering brilliance and bringing it to life. Like the goddess Persephone discovering her full power and blooming fiercely, I want to help brands embrace their dualities—who they are and who they’re becoming. I believe in crafting bold ideas that resonate, inspire, and fuel growth, one authentic connection at a time.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
From Bartending to Building Brands: The Story Behind Feed Your Lover Morgan Talbot, the founder of Feed Your Lover, knows a thing or two about thriving in high-energy, ever-changing environments. From the age of 18 to 30, Morgan worked as a bartender, mastering the art of multitasking, quick thinking, and connecting with people. While many might find the chaos of loud music, packed venues, and nonstop action overwhelming, Morgan thrived in it. “Give me 100+ people to entertain, throw in some loud music, and let’s GOOOO!” she says with enthusiasm.
This high-energy foundation taught Morgan invaluable lessons in people skills, staying calm under pressure, and resilience—skills that have become a cornerstone of her work today. “Whatever problem or obstacle my clients need to overcome, I’m committed to solving it,” she explains. These early experiences not only shaped her approach to challenges but also prepared her to build something far more enduring—a creative media studio that reflects her unique style, passion, and drive.
Building a Foundation for Success
Before launching Feed Your Lover, Morgan worked as a Marketing Director for large corporations and bustling startups. This phase of her career allowed her to hone her skills, but it also came with its challenges. While she gained a solid foundation in branding, strategy, and storytelling, Morgan felt constrained by the limitations of working within a single brand’s scope.
“I craved a dynamic environment where I could collaborate with multiple clients, help them grow, and craft something they were genuinely proud to share,” she explains. This desire for creativity, freedom, and meaningful client relationships led her to take the leap into entrepreneurship.
The Birth of Feed Your Lover
The name Feed Your Lover started as a personal Instagram handle documenting Morgan’s travels and culinary adventures with her fiancé. Over time, it evolved into something much deeper. The name became a symbol of connection—between people, between brands and their audiences, and between creativity and storytelling.
“My fiancé and I share a love for great food and a genuine connection. Feed Your Lover is an homage to that spirit and the idea of creating something meaningful, whether it’s a shared meal or a powerful brand,” Morgan shares.
With this philosophy in mind, Feed Your Lover was born as a creative media studio and a platform for helping clients build resilient, unmovable brands rooted in foundational success.

Feed Your Lover isn’t just about branding, photography, or videography—it’s about creating something deeply personal and enduring. Morgan and her team focus on helping clients discover, craft, and implement the essential elements of a lasting brand. “We empower our clients to embrace their talents, discover their brand’s true essence, and lead confidently with a strong foundation,” Morgan says. “From branding and graphic design to photography and drone services, we build resilient brands built to last.”
A Creative Eye for the Big Picture and the Details
With over 15 years behind the lens, Morgan brings a unique perspective to her work. Her experience in photography, videography, and drone services allows her to capture not just moments, but the stories and emotions behind them.
“I understand the big picture—where my clients want their brand to go—but I also see the small, often overlooked details that bring it to life,” she explains. “When clients choose Feed Your Lover, they’re not just getting a creative studio—they’re choosing the ‘wow factor,’ the edge that turns ordinary into unforgettable.”
Thriving on Challenges and Connections
Morgan’s journey from bartending to launching a thriving creative studio exemplifies her ability to thrive in high-energy, fast-paced environments. Her passion for solving problems, connecting with clients, and creating visually stunning brands drives everything she does.
“Working for other companies and agencies gave me a solid foundation, but starting Feed Your Lover allowed me to combine my creativity with the freedom to build meaningful, lasting relationships with my clients,” she reflects.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
Finding Resilience in the Journey: My First Client My first client came in 2019, just before the world turned upside down with COVID-19. Like so many others, the pandemic disrupted not only their plans but mine as well. It was a challenging project from the start, and unfortunately, mistakes were made on all sides—mine, my former business partner’s, and the client’s. As a brand-new business owner and a first-time business partner, I quickly learned that running a business was more than creating “pretty things.” The success and reputation of a business are tied to countless moving parts, many of which I was naïve about and unprepared to handle at the time.
I had bitten off far more than I could chew. I wasn’t experienced enough to navigate the challenges that arose, and I lacked the tools and confidence to handle the unexpected. But that experience taught me some of the hardest—and most valuable—lessons I’ve ever learned. Today, I am confident in promising clients only what I know I can deliver. I’m a better communicator and listener, and I’ve learned to lean into my strengths while being honest about my weaknesses. Instead of seeing those weaknesses as flaws, I’ve learned to use them to my advantage and ultimately benefit my clients.
Unfortunately, my relationship with that first client didn’t end on good terms, and I’ll admit—it crushed me. It didn’t just hurt my confidence in my work; it made me question my value and how I saw myself. My people-pleasing nature just couldn’t let it go. For years, I carried the weight of that experience, replaying every moment and belittling myself for not getting it “right.”
Cue my incredible fiancé—seriously, he’s amazing. He saw my talents and value in ways I couldn’t see myself. He reminded me to embrace my shortcomings and strengths and focus on excelling in what I do best. “Make peace with what you don’t,” he told me, “and stop letting others define your worth or path.” That advice changed everything for me.
I made peace with the fact that my first client experience wasn’t a perfect 10/10. I gave myself credit for my quality work, even as I acknowledged that I had fallen short on communication. I stopped belittling myself over that project and instead chose to learn the lessons it had to teach me truly. Then, I moved on.
That first client didn’t define me—it shaped me. The experience forced me to grow in ways I didn’t realize I needed to. It taught me resilience, self-awareness, and truly owning my failures and successes. I wouldn’t be where I am today without that challenge, and for that, I’m grateful.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
The Lesson I Had to Unlearn: Patience and Perspective In the early days of my career, I struggled with an ego-driven mindset that I’m now a little embarrassed to admit. When clients didn’t immediately grasp a concept or didn’t love something I created for them, my internal dialogue was less than kind. I would think, “Why don’t they get this? This is simple! How could they not love what I’ve created? How dare they want edits?”
Looking back, I realize how egotistical, inexperienced, and frankly, asinine I was. I had forgotten a fundamental truth: they hired me because they didn’t know. They trusted me to lead them, guide them, and help them. Instead, I was acting irritated and brash—a far cry from the professional, helpful partner they deserved.
One day, the wake-up call came from a family member. I was helping them navigate something as simple as Facebook but treating them like I’d treated a “difficult” client—tense, impatient, and dismissive. Finally, they stopped me and said something that hit me hard: “If you’re not going to be nice or helpful, I’d rather just figure it out myself. I asked for your help, not your attitude.”
That moment was a gut punch. They were right. It was a pivotal moment for me, both personally and professionally. I was embarrassed and ashamed, not just for how I had treated them, but for how I had likely made clients—and even friends—feel in the past. The truth hit me square in the face: Of course, they don’t know what they’re doing—that’s why they came to me for help!
From that moment on, my perspective shifted. I began to embrace that everyone learns in different ways and at their own pace. It’s my job to meet them where they are, not where I think they should be. Now, I genuinely love guiding my clients through the process, holding their hand when needed, and respecting their unique learning journeys.
That shift didn’t just make me a better professional; it made me a better person. I learned to let go of my ego and approach every interaction with patience, kindness, and a genuine desire to help. My life—and the lives of the people I work with and care about—are infinitely better because of it.
