We recently connected with Morgan Ray and have shared our conversation below.
Morgan , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Coming up with the idea is so exciting, but then comes the hard part – executing. Too often the media ignores the execution part and goes from idea to success, skipping over the nitty, gritty details of executing in the early days. We think that’s a disservice both to the entrepreneurs who built something amazing as well as the public who isn’t getting a realistic picture of what it takes to succeed. So, we’d really appreciate if you could open up about your execution story – how did you go from idea to execution?
My path into soul realignment began with a wanting to expand more to see what else was out there.
I was always interested in history, myths, legends and magic ! My grandmother read cartomancy and my aunts read tea leaves.
I was reading Tarot and Lenormand, drawn to the symbols and stories they revealed, how they created a story and led to answers but I felt there was more. This led me into a rich tapestry of spiritual traditions astrology, runes, Druidry, Munay-Ki the Peruvian shamanism. Each offered a piece of the puzzle, but it was the Akashic Records specifically through the lens of Soul Realignment that truly clicked.
It was like finding the master key. It wasn’t just receiving insights it was uncovering the why behind patterns, contracts and karmic imprints. The Records didn’t just illuminate the soul’s journey they offered tangible solutions for transformation. That clarity was life-changing.
I began weaving the Akashic Records into everything Tarot, Lenormand, even the Munay-Ki rites. I restructured the initiations to align with soul-level truths, deepening their resonance and impact. The synergy was undeniable. Each modality became a portal, and the Records were the map.
With Lenormand it may say that you a driven to work on a relationship but your behavior fights against it and the akashic records show you had a soul mate contract and a karmic pattern that keeps you stuck in this.
I have also used soul realignment into the Munay-ki deepening each rite and seeing how and why youll connect deeper and things that’ll possible keep you in resistance.
Its amazing to see how this could work with everything.
At the same time, I was traveling constantly on the move, exploring sacred sites, ancient cities, and forgotten landscapes. I started filming short videos in each place, using the local history to explore ancestral patterns, karmic themes, soul contracts, and vows. These weren’t just travel logs they were soul stories. And people loved them. What began as a passion project and something to further exolore areas quickly became something much bigger.
That’s when I met Björn Meuris. We’d crossed paths on a project that didn’t quite take offm We decided to co-create something new something that honored both our visions. That’s how The Mystery Channel was born a living archive of podcasts, events, and classes rooted in soul realignment, symbolic wisdom, and participatory ritual.
Together, we built it from the ground up. What started as a few videos and conversations became a thriving community. Looking at my practice thru The Mystery Channel really helped me see it differently and expand further.
Looking back, it all began with a simple desire to go deeper. And now, it’s become a movement. Building that mystery channel community, events to explain origins and symbols, having guest speakers also share their knowledge and we are about to introduce classes and our midwinter event as well ad Lenormand leap of light!
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
As a sacred traveler, my work centers on helping people realign with their soul’s original blueprint through the Akashic Records. The Records are like a vast library of every soul’s journey, and within them we can trace the origins of trauma patterns — where they began, how they’ve echoed across lifetimes, and how they continue to affect someone today.
Often, these patterns show up in areas that seem unrelated to their original source. For example, a wound from a past life may manifest as difficulty in relationships, career stagnation, or staying in environments that feel safe but are actually toxic. My role is to help people see these connections, so they can move beyond the fears and triggers that keep them stuck.
The soul comes here to build, explore, and expand, while the ego often clings to short-term stability — even if that stability means staying in jobs, friendships, or relationships longer than we should. By working through the Records, I help people step outside their comfort zones and embrace the unknown as fertile ground for growth.”
Soul contracts are agreements we make before incarnation. They set the stage for the lessons, relationships, and challenges we’ll encounter. Some contracts are relational — like agreements with family or partners to catalyze growth. Others are karmic, balancing unfinished energy from past lives, or service-oriented, where we commit to bringing certain gifts into the world.
Vows are even more binding. They’re promises made in past lives that can unconsciously carry forward. For example, vows of poverty may manifest as financial struggle, vows of chastity can create blocks in intimacy, and vows of silence may suppress someone’s voice or creativity. These vows persist because the soul honors its word across lifetimes unless consciously revoked.
In my work, I help people identify these contracts and vows, dissolve those that no longer serve, and reclaim their sovereignty. Once freed, they can step into alignment with their soul’s purpose rather than repeating old patterns.”
The ultimate goal is liberation — helping people move beyond trauma imprints, outdated contracts, and ego-driven fears so they can live from their soul’s truth. It’s about shifting from survival into expansion, from toxic safety into authentic growth.
When someone releases these bindings, they begin to embody the freedom their soul came here to experience. They can explore, create, and expand without being held back by invisible agreements or past-life echoes. My work is to hold space for that transformation, guiding them through the Records and back into alignment with their deepest essence
What sets me apart is that I don’t just look at surface choices or behaviors — I go deeper into the energy behind every decision. In the Akashic Records, I can see the root frequency that drives someone’s choices. For example, if all of your decisions are unconsciously shaped by a fear of abandonment, that energy will show up everywhere: in relationships, in career moves, in friendships. It may look different in each area of life, but the underlying vibration is the same, and it keeps you stuck in repeating patterns.
My gift is helping people recognize those energetic imprints, trace them back to their origin, and then shift them. Once you understand the energy behind your decisions, you can move beyond fear and triggers, step outside toxic comfort zones, and begin making choices from your soul’s truth rather than from old wounds. That’s where real freedom and expansion happen.
My work touches all areas of life — relationships, career, creativity, even the way people experience fear or confidence. Through the Akashic Records, I can see not only how many lifetimes people have shared together, but also the karmic patterns, vows, or blocks that continue to influence them today.
For example, I recently worked with a couple who constantly fought and felt they could never get along, yet they had aligned goals and were deeply protective of one another. When I looked into their Records, I discovered that across many lifetimes they had been siblings, bound by a vow of protection. That vow carried forward as negative karma, creating tension in their current relationship. By bringing that to light, they were able to understand the root of their dynamic and begin healing it.
Another client came to me with intense nerves before every performance. Everyone around her dismissed it as ‘just stage fright,’ but when I traced it back, I found two sources: a traumatic event when she was three years old, and a past life where she had been persecuted for speaking or performing publicly. To her nervous system, stepping on stage felt like real danger. Once she understood the origin of those fears, we worked to release and clear them, so she could take action and move past the block.
That’s what sets my work apart I don’t just look at the surface issue. I find the energetic imprint behind the choices, fears, and patterns, whether they come from this life or another. Once those imprints are revealed and cleared, people can finally step into freedom, expansion, and the truth of their soul.”
When someone comes to me with a problem, we don’t just look at the surface issue — we list everything that feels like it’s going wrong, and then I trace it back to see exactly why, how, and where it started. Through the Akashic Records, I can uncover the deeper energy patterns behind those challenges.
What’s important to understand is that the same energetic imprint often shows up in many different areas of life. For example, if someone is out of alignment at work, that misalignment might manifest as health issues, relationship struggles, or even something as practical as their car constantly breaking down. The car isn’t just a mechanical issue — it’s a signal, a mirror, showing them it’s time to course correct.
My role is to help people see those connections, identify the root energy deficit, and then take action to shift it. Whether it’s business, health, relationships, or creativity, once the underlying energy is realigned, the external problems begin to resolve. It’s about moving from being stuck in repeating patterns to living in flow with your soul’s truth.”
How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
I stay connected to clients by being authentically myself and offering them multiple avenues for growth. Beyond one-on-one sessions, I teach classes in star magic, Norse and Celtic shamanism, and Munay-Ki. This way, when someone comes to me, they don’t just work on resolving issues they also have opportunities to expand into practices like druidry, Peruvian shamanism, or astrology. For example, I’ll guide them to work with constellations like Pegasus, Vega, or the Summer Triangle, aligning their spiritual journey with the stars. It makes the process fun, magical, and deeply personal.
I also keep engagement alive by posting daily challenges tarot prompts, journal questions, and reflections tied to historical events. I love weaving history into the present moment, because it always aligns with the energy of the time. For instance, if it’s August 15th, I’ll highlight what was happening on that date in history and invite people to reflect on how those themes resonate now.
A beautiful example of this is the goddess Feronia from ancient Rome. She was honored with the first fruits of the harvest and celebrated as a goddess of freedom, fertility, and abundance. Her festival was a lively fair where offerings were made in sacred groves, and she was especially revered by freed slaves who saw her as a liberator. They believed that sitting on her holy stone could grant freedom, and newly freed slaves would receive the pileus a cap symbolizing their new status.
I use stories like Feronia’s as living metaphors in my challenges. Just as her followers sought freedom from bondage, I invite clients to reflect on what binds them today whether it’s fear, trauma, or outdated vows and to take steps to free themselves. These mythic touchstones help people see their own journey not just as problemsolving, but as part of a larger, timeless story of liberation and growth. That’s how I build loyalty: by creating a community where healing is woven together with myth, magic, and daily practice.”
I love to align my teachings with the calendar and the energy of the day. For example, October 25 is what I call the Feast of the Air it’s a time to honor spirits, thresholds, and the unseen currents that move through our lives. On this day, I often bring in the goddess Cardea from Roman mythology.
Cardea was known as the Goddess of the Hinge, protector of children, and guardian of thresholds. She prevented evil spirits from crossing into the home, and her emblem was the hawthorn tree, which was believed to have magical protective powers. Together with Janus, she was honored as one of the deities of the home, guarding doors and boundaries.
What I find powerful is that Cardea’s gift was something as simple as the hinge the ability to open and close, to decide what enters and what stays out. It reminds us that even the smallest choices, the ‘hinges’ of our lives, carry great power. On October 25, I invite clients to reflect on their own thresholds: What energies are they allowing in? What needs to be shut out?
As a practical ritual, I’ll suggest placing a hawthorn branch above doors or windows, invoking Cardea’s protection. But I also turn this into a challenge: write down one ‘threshold’ in your life maybe a relationship, a habit, or a fear and decide whether it’s time to open the door wider or to close it firmly. This transforms myth into daily practice, helping people protect their energy, honor their boundaries, and invite in only what supports their health and growth.
That’s how I keep clients engaged and loyal by making their spiritual journey not just about solving problems, but about living in rhythm with myth, history, and the sacred cycles of time

Have you ever had to pivot?
I spent many years in a long-term banking job, and when I looked around, I noticed something sobering — the last three people who retired from that position had passed away within a year. That was a wake-up call for me. I realized I didn’t want to wait until retirement to finally live, only to have two weeks off a year and no real freedom.
So I made a bold choice. I took a job that allowed me to travel constantly, still earn six figures, and at the same time build my side business as the Sacred Traveler. That period was incredible I saw everything from historical landmarks to beaches, presidential homes, and so much in between. While traveling, I was also taking classes, exploring, and growing my spiritual practice.
Eventually, my side business between the Mystery Channel and the Sacred Traveler grew to the point where I could keep up with everything. I had already seen the places I wanted to see, so I felt ready to take a step back from the corporate world and fully commit to my calling.
It wasn’t easy. Leaving behind the paycheck I was used to was a leap of faith. But I knew I was no longer aligned in my regular job I wasn’t making as much, I was being sidelined, and even my car kept breaking down. To me, those were clear signs from the universe that I was out of alignment. So I stopped traveling for work and made my business my priority, while still traveling to speak at conferences and host events.
And it’s been amazing. What I’ve learned is that when you follow soul alignment, the path provides what you need to succeed. My journey is proof that choosing expansion over fear, and alignment over security, opens doors you never imagined.
