We were lucky to catch up with Morgan Polite recently and have shared our conversation below.

Morgan , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Let’s talk legacy – what sort of legacy do you hope to build?

What type of legacy do I hope to build? I have such high hopes , dreams & goals for myself . So that’s such a great question. I hope to have nothing but success as part of my legacy. I want to be able to start a Distribution Warehouse for MoeLashes&Mo Beauty Supply, I definitely pray that’s in my legacy. I want to be able to also buy properties & land sooner than later. That’s what I hope to build for myself amongst other great things. I hope to have many more keys along with LLC’s & a whole lot of deeds !

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers?

My name is Morgan Polite & I’m a 25 year old Entrepreneur from Brunswick, Ga. However I was raised in Atlanta. I am the Owner of MoeLashes & Mo Beauty Supply. I graduated Brunswick High School in 2015 , I also graduated in 2017 with an Associate’s Degree In Marketing Management & I am currently still perusing my 4 year degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management.

I got into my line of work back in 2019 . So I was 22years old and working for AT&T when I started my business just as “MoeLashes”. My business consisted of me just selling Eyelashes but I knew when I started my business I wanted to sell Hair Extensions more than anything , which I also do now ! MoeLashes & Mo provides a various of Beauty Supplies, Braiding Hair, Combs , Brushes, Hair Accessories, Hand Bags, Jewelry, Hair Extensions, Wig Units , Closures & Frontals etc.

I feel that I got to this point by keeping God first most importantly , always speaking blessings over myself no matter the situation. Giving good customer service experiences even when this a hiccup & lastly staying consistent when I couldn’t stay motivated.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

I think I solve a lot of last minute problems for my local customer’s ! Which is why I feel like my Beauty Supply Store opening first throughout the week has been setting me apart within my first year . I always hear “oh wow you are actually open this early ! I have an appointment at 9:00am this is perfect “ or “you have everything I need”. So I know I’m helping others in my community by having my business here in Glynn County.

I also give back year round to the children in the community, we will be having our 2nd Annual Trunk or Treat coming up soon & I’m so looking forward to that ! Kids love me , they are a great way to reach the community as well! I love spoiling kids.

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?

Social Media has been the best source for me when it come to new clients / customers . People are ALWAYS reaching out to me via social media & I don’t have a problem with it at all. It’s what I prayed for ! Having others in my community that support me on social media is a plus as well because they are always sharing my content on Facebook to make sure others are able to see my craft and what I do for a living . So social media definitely has its on wave!
