Alright, Morgan thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to hear the backstory behind a risk you’ve taken – whether big or small, walk us through what it was like and how it ultimately turned out.

For me entering into the entrepreneurial world was taking a huge risk. I am the first person in my immediate family to really go against the grain, and do things differently. I knew I wanted more, and I also felt like I had a higher calling on my life, so I took a leap of faith, and created my own businesses. I mainly feel like it was a risk because I did not have any one to look up to for advice or help. I really had to pave my own way, and figure things out as I went along.

I opened up my businesses when I was so down out on life, and had no job. My life was in shambles, but I prayed about it, and soon realized that all I had to do was take the first step and God did the rest. my first business is called Olivia’s Nectar. it is a all natural and vegan haircare line for curly hair. It was inspired by my daughter. As I went along with this business I started getting really deep into healing, and I’ve always had a passion for helping others so it just felt so right to start my next business which is healing journals which are on Amazon now! Looking back on how I first began, I am so proud that I stepped out on faith because now I am a great example to my children, and others that watch my growth. With everything that I do , I just want to show people that anything is possible if you just believe.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

After giving birth to my beautiful baby girl named Adalynn Olivia in 2019, I discovered that she was suffering from hair loss. Olivia’s hair would grow, then quickly fall out. Although money was tight, raising two children by myself, I knew that I had to find a way to help my daughter by any means.

After saving up my money little by little, I invested into many ingredients and read books about hair. After first trying several over the counter products and with none of them working, I soon begin to experiment with natural herbs, vitamins, plant and fruit-based products and after a lot of trial and error, the first product was born Olivia’s Nectar Growth Oil.

After using the growth oil on Olivia’s hair for a few weeks, there was a sufficient improvement and hair gain. Not only was her hair growing back, but it was thicker too! I knew there was something special about her growth oil and wanted to share it with others going through the same issues. Soon after others began to see the same results, I was inspired to create a whole line of products that included organically grown ingredients.

During the journey of starting my own business it really led me into wellness, and now I am proud to announce that I have many wellness, healing, and self discovery journals on Amazon. I am also a healing and wellness coach where people can book sessions with me, and I help them in areas of their life. I am also hosting a healing retreat soon!

If you could go back, would you choose the same profession, specialty, etc.?

Hmm, I think if I had to chance to do it all over again, the only thing I would change is catering more to children. I think teaching little girls and boys about the importance of healthy hair without chemical is so important. Plus I just really enjoy being around children, they make me laugh and are so sweet.

Have any books or other resources had a big impact on you?

Oh yes! I follow and support another entrepreneur, and his name is Lamar Tyler. I think he is so great at what he does. It really shows you how to properly run a business, and engage with your ideal audience. His courses really show you how much he is dedicated to helping others, and it really helped me when I first started my business journey.
