Morgan, appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.
I spent my entire adult life in the corporate world – clocking in and out, asking permission for lunch breaks and vacations. It was always my dream to break free from that routine, but for the longest time, I didn’t know how.
When my second child was born, I became a stay at home mom – something I’d wanted for years. Those early days with my babies were everything I hoped for, but after a few years of being home every day, I felt a pull for something more. I didn’t want to return to a traditional 9 to 5, but I also wanted to contribute financially and do something that truly lit me up.
That’s when the idea of starting a mobile spray tan business came to me. For about a year, it danced around in my head. It was a way to combine my love of helping others feel confident and beautiful with the flexibility I needed as a mom. One night, I decided to take the leap. I bought the equipment and training courses and told myself I’d figure out the rest as I went.
I knew this was a worthwhile endeavor because I saw firsthand how much confidence a simple glow could give someone. There was a gap in my community – no one was offering that personal, customized experience, especially in a way that was convenient for busy moms like me. It excited me to create something that was both a service and an experience, where women could feel amazing in their own skin.
Ultimately, I trusted that if I was passionate and willing to learn, I could create something special. And that’s exactly what I’ve done.

I’m Morgan: a 31-year-old wife, mom, and passionate spray tan artist. I specialize in creating custom, natural looking spray tans for any occasion, whether it’s a bride’s big day, a college student heading on spring break, or a busy mom who just wants a little pick me up.
I offer both in-studio and mobile spray tanning services, tailoring each tan to my client’s unique skin tone and type. My mission is simple: to make every woman who steps into my tent feel even more beautiful and confident than she already is.
I think what truly sets me apart is the level of care and attention I bring to each session. I take the time to listen to my clients’ wants and needs, using my expertise to ensure they get the best, most customized glow possible. From hairnets and disposable undergarments to fun tanning stickers, dusting powder, and every detail in between, I provide everything needed for a seamless and luxurious spray tan experience.
I’m most proud of the relationships I’ve built with my clients. I love that my work doesn’t just deliver a beautiful tan, but it also gives women a moment to pause, relax, and feel good in their own skin. For me, it’s about so much more than a tan: it’s about confidence, connection, and helping women feel their absolute best.

We’d love to hear the story of how you turned a side-hustle into a something much bigger.
When I first started, I saw spray tanning as a side hustle and a way to get out of the house, meet new women in my community, and bring in a little extra income. I had no idea that within six months, my “little side gig” would grow into a full-time business with my own studio.
In the beginning, I worked mobile appointments in the evenings and on weekends, slowly building my client base through word of mouth and social media. As demand grew, I realized I needed a dedicated space to better serve my clients and offer an even more luxurious experience. That’s when I opened my studio and turned this passion into a full time career I’m incredibly proud of.
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
I believe my reputation comes from my focus on detail and truly caring for my clients. I know how much a service provider’s attitude can shape an experience. feeling rushed or unseen can ruin it. I always make sure my clients feel heard, cared for, and leave feeling more beautiful and confident. Small touches like wiping barrier cream off their palms can turn a simple spray tan into a luxury experience.
