We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Morgan Cecil a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Morgan, thanks for joining us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
Back in 2006—when I was single and eight months pregnant with my son—I dressed up as Marilyn Monroe, and took a series of playful and pregnant “sexy selfies” while delighting in a gallon of chocolate ice cream. These creative self-portraits were instrumental in my inner healing from feminine wounds.
Through the lens of my own camera, I was able to see myself in new ways and open a door back to my wholeness as a woman. It was the beginning of my personal healing journey from sexual trauma, shame and unworthiness, and a seed that became a mission to help other women reclaim the lost and dismissed parts of their own feminine body and soul, in a way that is light and plaful, instead of heavy and
My personal life has taken me from chronic depression (the despair of a single mom on food stamps) to 6-figure CEO and mother of two, living a true romance and meaningful adventure with my husband.
Now, I’m devoted to bringing alive the desires and full range of expression available to women when we consciously reclaim our power and step into our wholeness.
It lights me up to see my clients fall in love with their femininity and become the women they’ve always desired to be: joyful, sexy, self-expressed, and free to go after their soulful ambitions. Their transformations from self-described “good girls” to soverien women inspires me everyday.
My goal as a woman, wife, mother and CEO is to unapologetically embody my soul, find true romance and meaningful adventure in grand and everyday ways, and to make a difference in the world by helping others remember their wholeness and trust what lights them up.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am a passionate and dedicated feminine embodiment and life coach, committed to empowering women in the realms of sex, love, and relationships, spirituality and business.
With a focus on female executives, coaches, and creatives, I provide guidance and support to those who have faced challenges with “Good Girl” conditioning and the inhibition of their full self-expression in their femininity.
My purpose is to help women embrace their true selves and cultivate a deep sense of trust in what truly lights them up.
Through my transformative self-paced courses (Body of Bliss, Heal Your Own Gaze, Tantric Date-Nights), high-level group programs (The Embody Academy), and intimate retreats, my clients gain confidence, clarity, and a profound sense of pleasure in their lives. I firmly believe that every woman deserves to experience joy, fulfillment, and meaningful connections in all aspects of her life.
By creating a safe and supportive space, I get the great privilege of helping each client embody her soul and fulfill the desires of her heart. I understand the unique struggles and societal pressures that can hinder the exploration of femininity, and I am here to guide my clients in breaking free from these limitations.
What sets me a part from other feminine healers and life coaches is my approach. I am the creator of a Feminine Wholeness® Method, a 3-part framework and daily practice that gently guides a woman home to herself through what I call, The Technology of Delight.
In my experience, the highest form of feminine wisdom and guidance is always found through the Doorway of Delight. The newest research into healing reveals that un-processed trauma in the body makes pleasure, success, and growth feel too dangerous for the nervous system. However, joy, pleasure and delight can serve as a tool for healing and expansion when expertly applied to patterns of unconscious behavior rooted in self-protection. I have witnessed it over and over again: A woman can be/do/have and experience ANYTHING she wants, as long as she makes it FUN enough to have it!
My most popular course, Heal Your Own Gaze, has set hundreds of women free via the power of the “sexy selfie.” It may sound silly, but there is a lot of sacred in the seemingly superficial. This is the essence of play and the Technology o.f Delight.
How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
After several years in business as a course creator and 1:1 coach, I made the decision to pivot into high-ticket group programs. Truth be told I was frustrated and exhausted, making barely enough to call myself a legit business, definitely not enough to pay rent and fund my future.
I had done every single business course you can think of it. It wasn’t for lack of information that my business wasn’t financially successful. It wasn’t for lack of followers either. The #1 reason I was struggling to support myself and grow was because of unworthiness, a sneaky belief that money was evil and “good girl” conditioning that caused me to unconsciously overgive and underearn.
I wrote this letter to myself and then shared it with my community of kindred women running heart-centered businesses, who I knew from their stories were also “making beans” while slowly burning out.

Dear Soulful Woman,
PLEASE START FOCUSING ON MAKING MORE MONEY, HONEY.
You heard me right…
You who are soulful, spiritually bent and conscious of making the world a better place…
You who have invested 1000s of hours and dollars into your inner-healing…
You who LOVE what you do so much you’d do it for free…
I want you to start focusing on MONEY.
Why?
Because your soul’s ability to find contentment in small things has been hijacked by your sneaky-ego to stay small.
Because you have become enmeshed with a spiritual identity and that need to be perceived as “authentic, deep, soulful” is holding you back from making your greatest impact.
Because like it or not we live in a world that values money beyond all other values. And we need you to have more chips to lay on that table if we are going to change it!

It was only when I started using my embodiment practices, meditations, and energy alchemy tools (the same tools I was using to help my clients get free from “Good Girl” conditioning in their sex lives) did I gain the confidence and clarity to pivot successfully to high-ticket and my business made a huge shift.
By applying the Feminine Wholeness® Method to my own business my income went from under $50k/year to over $400,oo0.
This proved to me that most people are lacking information, they are lacking integration. There is no shortage of what to do on the internet (to lose weight, find a partner, make more mone, etc), but their is a huge shortage in our capacity to take what we know and apply it. This is why I am so passionate about helping women EMBODY their soul and access the resources of wholeness within them that will give them the capacity they need to take meaningful actions in their life and apply what they know. So many of my clients have come to me feeling so stuck in their head, By learning my feminine embodiment framework and practices, they gain freedom and power in every area of their life.
They learn just like I did when I made the pivot to high-ticket, that embodiment is the key to fulfilling all our desires.
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
Self-photography was/is my superpower. It built my brand before I knew I had a brand. Being able to shoot my own photos, enabled me to capture my authenticity and creativity CONSISTENTLY. I didn’t have to wait for a professional shoot. It also was a huge money saver! I didn’t have to pay for a professional photographer just to get photos I could use for social media.
I was a woman who never thought she was beautiful or _______ ENOUGH. Self-photography helped me learn to see my own beauty and to practice self-acceptance. The principles I teach in my course Heal Your Own Gaze, are principles I return to again and again because they continue to help me as I’m getting older and my body/face is changing!
The inner skills and embodiment skills I developed around self-photography are actually more important than the technical ones (you can google those!)
I see self-photography as a tool for inner healing, branding, and creative self-expression. It’s definitely helped me build my reputation in my field and I love giving other women access to that same super-power within themselves.
