We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Morgan Allen a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Morgan, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to hear about the things you feel your parents did right and how those things have impacted your career and life.
Growing up in a single parent household can affect people differently. For me it motivated me to be independent, always follow through with goals, and to never set limits on myself. I started working at 14, now I have a great job as a pediatric ER nurse, I travel more than I need to, and I’m beyond blessed to be where I’m at in life right now.

Morgan, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
For my photography business I love to keep the creativity open. I don’t have a specific style I like to do because all my clientele is different. I love challenges and doing whatever photoshoot is needed. However, I don’t like to edit too much. I use natural light and basic editing techniques.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
I feel like being personable during my photoshoots has gotten me rebookings and referrals. Being open to my clients needs and wants also helps.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
Instagram has been a huge help! The more I post on there, the more I book!
