Montrey, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
From Section 8 To Real Estate. I grew up on the move, from the projects to various houses every 12-24 months. I know how important ownership is and realize how difficult it can be for some people. So, my passion is helping people establish and expand their generational wealth through real estate. I assist with all real estate needs and hold your hand through the process. I will exhaust all options to get you into a house you can make a home, with a smile. Teaching people financial literacy and accountability during the process, showing people how vital owing a home could be to your life and your family’s lives. Proving a lot of the myths to be false information while providing updated information you can apply today. Many of my first-time home buyers actually get to the closing table with $0 out of pocket. I did it for them and can very well do it for you.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
I have a background in marketing, so initially I was brought in as the Marketing Director for Infinite Homes Realty. I was enjoying the new stream of income and how frequent it was coming. I asked my broker, Shantil Newton, “If I’m making this much just for marketing How much would a commission check be?” I seen 1 check and replied, “I need to be a realtor”! Shantil replied in agreement, “Get your license”! I signed up for real estate school that night. Through an exhausting time period of covid I finally was awarded my real estate license. Now I assist people with selling, buying and investing in real estate, I work with all price points and have an enact for getting clients to the closing table with a smile. We offer traditional purchases and lease purchases. The real estate climate has changed, and we have adapted to the change by offering more options to our clients. My passion for helping others establish and expand their generational wealth sets me apart from others. From experience I see how crucial owning a home is and how much better life can be because of it. When my wife Cyerra and I purchased our home, I was only the 2nd person in my family to every purchase a home, (at the time). With such great success and transparency, my clients have become family so everybody around me is getting involved in real estate.
I am most proud of the fact that I get to help so many people achieve their dreams, it is just a bonus that I am able to take care of my family doing it.

Have you ever had to pivot?
Remember I got my real estate license in the middle of the pandemic, so there was a lot of uncertainty taking place. Jobs shutting down, income becoming scarce, the housing market was in a frenzy. While all of this was happening, people still wanted better housing but unsure on where they would live and for how long. A member of our team, Ashlee Johnson, presented us with a new program and a possible solution to the housing concerns LEASE PURCHASE. Lease purchase is a medium between renting and owning, a very updated version of rent-to-own and was exactly what the market needed. Due to only needed a 550+ credit score and making $40k+ a year, it opened up better quality housing without a long-term commitment. The clients were only locked in for 12 months at a time, had an option to buy at any time but have 5 years to make a decision. Since we were the first brokerage to offer this in KY, everybody came to us and essentially catapulted us into high demand. We are active in Georgia, then Kentucky now we are expanding into Ohio, Tennessee, and a few other states soon. Be on the lookout for Infinite Lease Purchase coming to your area. What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
The most effective strategy for growing my clientele would be word of mouth. Social media has been great but not as productive as the way my clients tell everyone they know about their experiences with me as realtor. Other realtors may have more experience than me but there is no experience like working with me. My clients get treated like family, I work around their schedule, and I work continuously to get them the best house/property for their money. Along with all that work we will have a good time and they will learn how real estate works. I can’t forget to mention, I celebrate them when we close. They day is about them, and I try my best to make it an unforgettable experience. So, with me its more than a transaction, it’s an experience. That’s not something you can get everywhere.
