Monnie, appreciate you joining us today. Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?

My most meaningful project was a bookend I created with the roses from my cousin’s passing 2 years ago. For two years, I let the flowers from his funeral sit before I could even attempt to touch them. I took those flowers and put my ultimate creativity to the test. Out of my pain, I used my cousin’s flowers to create a beautiful bookend.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

My name is Monnie and I am a One of a Kind resin artist as well as the founder and creator of Like Neaux Other Creations®️. First and foremost, Neaux is pronounced as “No”.

What sets Like Neaux Other Creations®️ apart from other companies is that I spend time with each customer to get to know the mindset behind each creation. My only disadvantage is many other companies can offer mass production of items, but it’s with little to no personalization. I create One of Kind resin artwork, that with proper use and care can last a lifetime. I’m allowed the unique opportunity with the advantage of being able to turn a want into a need. To any upcoming entrepreneurs, just know that we’ve all been there, ready to give up, wondering how long it’s going to take for us to become successful like the many people we see, just know it’s coming. NEVER GIVE UP! IT’S COMING!

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

I’ve spent countless hours building a social media presence among all platforms. I know the only way to grow my business is to be seen as much as possible by as many people as possible. I’d like to be able to gain clients of all ages and personalities with my custom creations. The best way to grow your presence is to provide quality content and put yourself in front of as many people as possible. You also must be able to learn from any mistakes you make to provide the best possible experience for your clients and future clients.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?

The mission for Like Neaux Other Creations®️ is customer satisfaction! From beginning to end, I want my customers to know I value their business, opinions and feedback. I spend time with each customer to help them explore the many possibilities and their own imaginations. Quality should never be compromised; no matter what creation you imagine, although there may be slight imperfections or flaws that’s what makes your creation UNIQUE.
