Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Monique Jefferson. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Monique, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Do you think your parents have had a meaningful impact on you and your journey?
My parents showed me “tough love”. I mean, that could’ve been the best thing they’ve ever done for me because it prepared me for the world! Understanding that no handouts are given and that I am to work my tail off to get what I want… I mean stay focused & grind! But, they always spoiled me tremendously being the middle child & only girl. I honestly can say I had a healthy balance of the two. My parents instilled in me always putting God first and trusting Him & his way for my life. Hence my business motto: GOD, GRIND, GO TIME! I am the woman I am today because of their constant love and example of leadership and hardwork.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
To make this short and sweet… I am a lifestyle changer! I help people of all ages & ethnicities enhance their athletic or sports abilities, while also offering fitness enhancing as well. If you want to know more, go visit my website! You will not be disappointed.
Training and knowledge matter of course, but beyond that what do you think matters most in terms of succeeding in your field?
You definitely have to carry a passion for helping others and understanding others! Everyone isn’t built the same… meaning all of us have different goals, body types, mindsets, etc. But you have to be that person who is able to find what it is they are needing and tap into it and show them the way! Make things personable yet keeping it professional. I pride myself on that one. I pretty much can get along with anyone…

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
My prior career in sports! A lot of people know me from my high school & college basketball career. I’ve always been the “weightroom queen” on my teams so working out and staying in shape was like second nature for me. I enjoyed it for myself and I liked being able to show others how to be in shape as well. My personality is one of a kind! I pride myself on punctuality, professionalism, and communication. I think those 3 things are what helps keep me relevant because I’m going to always keep it 100 with my clients and they know I have their best interest at heart.
