We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Monique Forcier a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Monique , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Have you ever experienced a times when your entire field felt like it was taking a U-Turn?
In 2019 I was working full time as a commercial real estate agent in a firm that I co-owned. While the work was good and I loved the team we had built, I was miserable. I wanted to make a bigger impact with people. I wanted to do spiritual work. Spirituality had always been a passion point of mine and for was long as I could remember, something I wanted to do for my work. The entrepreneur and strategist in me was not sure how to make money at something so non-mainstream.
Luckily I found spiritual coaches of my own who helped me develop a plan and take the steps that I needed to launch my business. So, in 2020, I launched my business and since then I have not looked back!
Now, I am lucky enough to say that I am no longer miserable as I am doing the thing that I love while making an impact in the lives of my clients.
Monique , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I’m honored to be a coach and spiritual guide. For as long as I can remember I’ve been centered in spirituality and I’ve tapped into intuition as my trusted guidance system. I’m innately able to refer to my inner-knowing to answer life’s challenging questions.
Like so many, the experiences in my life have shaped my path.
When I was in my mid-twenties my Grandmother was diagnosed with cancer. Being faced with her mortality, sent me on a journey to explore the meaning of life, the origin of spirits, and what our purpose is here on this planet.
For the past 25 years, I’ve been dedicated to my own self-growth and transformation.
Doing personal healing work and deep dives into self has allowed valuable perspective which assists me in being able to identify with and see people’s core needs.
I began formal training as a healer 10 years ago and have been expanding my knowledge base and offerings ever since. For the past five years, I’ve worked with clients offering intuitive healing and guidance.
Pulling on my extensive knowledge of many ancient spiritual and religious practices I use a spiritual lens to help people see themselves from a higher, divine perspective.
I help people tap into the intuitive parts of themselves as I guide them to find their own answers and open up new space within themselves for growth and healing.
What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
My most successful strategy for growing clientele has been consistently posting on my social media channels. Letting people who are hurting and in need of my services know that I am here as a guide for them on their journey. That I am here to see them and assist them with tools to practices and tools to help alleviate them through their troubles
Training and knowledge matter of course, but beyond that what do you think matters most in terms of succeeding in your field?
I believe there are several innate traits that I have that allow me to be successful in my field. I see people, as they are and meet them wherever they are in their journey without judgement. I have a great sense of curiosity that I bring. This curiosity and ability to deeply listen allows my clients to have their voice heard, perhaps for the the first time. A lot of my clients comment on saying things out loud for the first time to me and having clarity for their positions in their lives where they were possibly stuck before.
