We were lucky to catch up with Monica Walker recently and have shared our conversation below.
Monica, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s talk legacy – what sort of legacy do you hope to build?
I hope to build a legacy of Prosperity for my family and the next generation. At Prosperiti Jewel, we aim to encourage and inspire people to manifest prosperity in life. We all want prosperity, but some people lack the mindset to obtain it. Our jewels provide the opportunity to feel it and believe it in order to acheive it. Our motto is “You deserve Prosperiti.”
Monica, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Prosperiti Jewel, formerly MoRichez, was created in 2020. I created this jewelry business because I’ve always loved wearing jewelry and accessories and desired to make my own jewelry. Therefore, I began playing around with a jewelry making kit that I purchased. After making beautiful pieces that were admired by many, I started the business by creating an online store. Then I obtained and paid for mentorship. My mentor encouraged me to sell my jewelry and designer replicas via live sales. After months of success with loyal, frequent customers, I was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer. Therefore, due to the toll of chemotherapy treatment and surgery, my business suffered because I wasn’t/ couldn’t go live to make sales anymore. After completing and winning the battle of breast cancer over the course of 10 months, God told me to change my business, and now my vision is greater. Not only did I change the name of the business, but we are now incorporating God, and The Word in it and creating a trademarked jewelry store with a store front in the planning phase. We will also be a featured vendor at the Atlanta Women’s Expo in November 2022. Furthermore, we will give back to the community by hosting drives and adopting families each year for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and back to school.
What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
The most effective strategy for growing my clientele is going live consistantly. Going live consistantly will attract more and more new customers. The key word is consistancy. The going live part is crucial in this time because consumers want to see that you have the product on hand to ship to them, and it gives them a personal feel. People like to feel like they know you.
Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
I keep in touch with clients via posting and messenger. However, I am now starting to take advantage of newsletter marketing and text makerting. To foster brand loyalty, we have begun customer spotlights where we utilize WCW to spotlight a customer who has submitted a video or picture of herself wearing Prosperiti Jewels and give her a discount on next order.
