Monica, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today The first dollar your firm earns is always special. We’d love to hear about how you got your first client that wasn’t a friend or family.

Our first client was a friend of my bff’s mom who contacted us to decorate his wife’s birthday party, it took us forever to do a simple decoration and they were very proud of the final product they tipped us even after 3 hours 🤣 .. Now we laugh because it was so simple, something we can now do in less than 1 hour. We feel very thankful for this first opportunity they gave us because it was the beginning of this adventure!

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

We started in this business as a friends owners creating special moments for our loved ones. We did birthday parties, baby showers, gender reveals and a lot of events for family and friends, one day they started asking us why don’t you start a decoration business? You are so good, so talented and then we created Magic Falls Events 🤍

My business does balloons decorations, party planning, flowers arrangements and all type of personalized designs with a clear purpose: make your day and your event special, bring magic and happiness to your loved ones in your special moments.

We are here to help you with your event, we can design and create magic for your special day. From balloons to a whole party.

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?

I think our best source is the word of mouth, when you do a great job and your clients are happy they will definitely recommend you with all their family and friends.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

I had a lot of people near me that always told me I was not capable of doing this, I didn’t have the skills or the discipline to handle a business or be independent.

Now I look back and I’m so proud of myself, I had to work hard to be where I’m.
