Monica, appreciate you joining us today. Do you have a hero? What have you learned from them?

My parents are my heroes and have profoundly influenced me. Their entrepreneurial background has taught me the importance of being passionate about what you do, persistence, and working hard to be successful.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

I am a brand designer, developing identities primarily for restaurants. When I started my professional career, I worked on a broad range of print and digital projects but I found an interest in branding early on. I decided to pursue a focus brand identity and eventually began working for clients in the food and beverage industry.

The creative works I provide include logo design, brand messaging, brand strategy, and visual brand identity development. My projects typically consist of visual elements that help create a cohesive and recognizable brand identity. From developing a brand strategy to designing a logo and creating a brand voice, there are many steps involved in creating a memorable and effective brand. I focus on ensuring that my clients receive a strong brand identity that makes them stand out in the market. Developing an effective unique and strong visual identity provides recognition, customer loyalty, and awareness in a highly competitive market.

The branding process can be a challenging but rewarding experience. For me, the best part is seeing the brand come to life. It is an exciting moment to see all of the hard work completed and how customers interact with the final identity.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

The most rewarding aspect of being a creative is the ability to communicate ideas and emotions through various mediums. I love the ability to connect with others and inspire them to feel and experience the world in a new and profound way. Tapping into my imagination and bringing something beautiful into existence is incredibly rewarding to me. It also provides the opportunity to constantly grow, a sense of purpose, fulfillment, and joy that can be hard to find elsewhere.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?

My primary goal is to create visually appealing and effective designs that communicate a message or idea clearly and effectively. I strive to create designs that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional while meeting the needs of my clients.
