We recently connected with Money Making Sace and have shared our conversation below.
Money Making Sace, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Can you talk to us about how you learned to do what you do?
Honestly, I study my craft a lot. When I listen to my favorite artist or watch their music videos, I look at it as homework. For example, if there was no Michael Jordan, there would be no Kobe Bryant. Thats not a diss to Kobe, it’s just that in order to be great you have to learn from the greats. As far as speeding up the process, I think everything happens when it’s supposed to. God doesn’t make any mistakes and the universe is going to do what it wants to do. Therefore, I feel like I learned at a speed that I was capable of, you know? I think my most important skill is that I’m perfectly fine with being student, I don’t have to be top dog 24/7. You can’t learn that way, sometimes the best thing to do is just listen. When I was younger, I was always on go, instead of learning the entire process, I just went with my move. This led to me having to start things over and over again because I did not fully understand how to complete the objective. But, as you go, you grow.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
Well, my name is Money Making Sace, and I do a multitude of things. Some days I am a rapper, fashion designer, model, audio engineer, music producer, actor, and astronaut. It really just depends on how I’m feeling. I got into doing these things because I needed something to do with my life. I graduated high school and realized I was not going to the NBA, I don’t want to be a doctor, or work for someone for the rest of my life, so I chose music. But somedays I feel like music chose me. That’s the thing about your passion or your gift, its inside you, you just have to allow it to come out. The thing I’m most proud of is that I never gave up. I still remember hearing, “Who do you think you are”, “Your music is not good”, “Eventually, you’re going to have to give that up”, I remember it all. Hearing all these negative comments only made me stronger though, it’s just a part of the process.

Are there any books, videos, essays or other resources that have significantly impacted your management and entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy?
Off rip, I have to go with the 4 agreements, atomic habits, and The Monk who sold his Ferrari. These books focus more on the spiritual side of life. I have learned that everything truly happens for a reason. Even if you don’t understand why something is occurring at the moment, you will eventually find out in the future. Becoming more spiritual has impacted my entrepreneurial thinking tremendously. I don’t stress as much as I use to, and I usually find a solution when I stop searching for one. Life is pretty simple, but sometimes as humas we confuse simplicity with easiness.
: Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
Honestly, the goal is pretty simple. I just want people to understand that you can make it or do anything you want, by just being yourself. Individuality, authenticity, and originality is the key to life.
