I started online sales 7 years ago with POSHMARK. What a blessing this company is you upload photos of products for people to purchase. After a couple of years my POshmark grew to over half a million followers. I started doing social media like IG , TIKTOK and Fb. I couldn’t believe the response- i now do LIVE SALES 3 times a week that support my whole family. My husband retired from labor work and now we work together working our online business.
Don’t ever underestimate yourself, if we can do it so can you.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I started doing online sales 2 years ago. My husband was in ICU for 44 days and i panicked not only for his health but financially. I decide to go home after being with him 14 hours a day in the hospital and take photos and upload them to my IG stories for people to purchase. I started to see the success in that and when he finally came home- i took care of him and started doing live sales from my home on IG and FB. At first i was nervous but quickly started noticing the success it was bringing and now 2 years later, we have a thriving online presence and make a living doing so.
I have had the privilege to be working with TARGET and be featured on there website.
I also do social media for HEB Houston.
It’s all because of my online presence and growing!
How did you build your audience on social media?
Social media engagement is huge. Put yourself out there, share your experience with others, update your social media daily and just have fun with it. I try and share with my following as much as i can with my following and show the good and that not so good adventure of being your own BOSS!!
How do you keep your team’s morale high?
Managing a team of family based online business is challenging at time but so rewarding. You have to be strict yet enjoy the journey. This is a place in life we choose and are so thankful to do it with the people we love!
