We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Monae Bradley. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Monae below.
Hi Monae, thanks for joining us today. Can you tell us about a time where you or your team really helped a customer get an amazing result?
My customers always come back with new ideals that I can do. They trust my work and say do what’s best I know that your going to make is look perfect. That’s one thing that I love about my customers is they trust the work that the Treat Gallery offers.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I started strawberry dipping seven years ago for my brother’s wedding. My first time prepping for a big event was in August of 2016. Yes, I was a bit nervous. I began by choosing the nicest, plumpest, and juiciest berries I could find. I took my time cleaning and getting them ready for dipping. When they were finished. I was taken aback by how they came out. They looked amazing! It quickly evolved into a pastime involving making food art. I loved making people smile with my hands. I wanted to get better at what I do once it becomes a regular activity. I started by doing research and learning new techniques as well as how to make, package, and market my delectable delights.
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
Being a mother of three and balancing the competing schedules of the three children for sports and other activities, various self-started enterprises, and a full-time job is undoubtedly challenging.
In order to manage my busy days, I now multitask. But it’s worth it when I’m able to make my customer’s idea come to life, and I get to witness the joy on their face.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
Together with word of mouth and business events I’ve attended, my social media presence has helped me keep my business afloat. My clients’ support keeps me going, and once I do those few jobs, everything falls into place.
I went one step further and started customizing clothing, including shirts, skirts, shorts, and costumes. Hair bows, caps, socks, key chains, tumblers, mugs, custom fans, and grave blankets are available as accessories.
