Moment of Creation Studio, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
The mission of Moment of Creation Studio is passion, creativity, and dedication. All three of us have a undeniable passion for video production and it shows on even before the day of production. As soon as we are booked we are instantly thinking of how can this be better than the last. We are always trying to push the boundaries of our creativity to elevate each production. We are so dedicated to giving our all we seem to deliver something special to each of our clients. We don’t just want to visually capture the production but bring in that emotion that allows views of a live stream really feel apart of the moment.
Moment of Creation Studio, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Moment of Creation Studio consists of 3 members Dezmond Perry, Alicia Bailey, and Nat Perry. The company was formed in December 2020. Dez was a freelance videographer, Nat just retired from Tennessee State University after 25 years, Alicia was working for local media companies as a freelancer helping where needed. The pandemic hit, we all had a lot of free time and tried to figure out our next steps overall.
Dez started inviting Alicia and his dad Nat out on his shoots and this is the beginning of our work relationship. We quickly realized we balanced each other and our talents merged perfectly. We made the decision to start the company in December 2020. We literally hit the ground running and booked clients in January of 2021 live streaming our first event. This step changed the vision of the business and we knew live streaming would be our niche. As a video production company, we have been able to live stream a variety of events in the city of Nashville.
One thing we want potential clients to know is what truly love what we do and as a result you will feel that energy when you look back at the production. It is a full experience working with us and our current clients can attest that we always show up going above and beyond.
Can you tell us the story behind how you met your business partner?
Dezmond and I met in the Performing Arts Center on the campus of Tennessee State University were we both were pursing a degree in Mass Communications. Nat being Dez’s dad we know how they met and you can see they share a bond their love for video production. Dez merged all our talents together and formed this great trio.
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
Our personalities and the quality of work we produce. To be around us at any given time you will laugh, dance and be productive all at the same time. As hard as we work we have a healthy balance of enjoying the moment we’re in. I think that really translates to our clients/community in a positive to way. We made a point to be active in the community by just showing up to events and supporting other local entrepreneurs and offering our services. Being genuine and operating in our passion has built our reputation in the city.
