We recently connected with Mojgan Styner and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Mojgan thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Coming up with the idea is so exciting, but then comes the hard part – executing. Too often the media ignores the execution part and goes from idea to success, skipping over the nitty, gritty details of executing in the early days. We think that’s a disservice both to the entrepreneurs who built something amazing as well as the public who isn’t getting a realistic picture of what it takes to succeed. So, we’d really appreciate if you could open up about your execution story – how did you go from idea to execution?
From the very start, I was certain that I wanted to establish my own path as a business owner. It wasn’t something that happened overnight—it was a natural progression. I began my career in international business in my early twenties and worked across a range of sectors. That experience gave me a global perspective and a strong foundation in cross-border services, which I knew I wanted to continue building on.
I’ve never been someone who looked for the easy way. I always felt drawn to the idea of creating something on my own terms, which meant gaining both experience and independence. That’s when the idea for my company started to take shape. I chose the name Moonstone because it represents clarity, transformation, and strength—values that I wanted my business to reflect.
Interestingly, I launched Moonstone right in the middle of the pandemic, during a time of great uncertainty. But fear was never really part of the equation for me. As a seasoned real estate agent, I was used to dealing with change and challenges. I’ve always believed that obstacles aren’t there to stop us—they’re there to help us grow. I see them as steps on the staircase to success.
Once I committed, the next phase was about putting the foundations in place. I focused on understanding the legal and financial requirements, refining the services I wanted to offer, and building the brand identity—from the name and logo to the values and tone of voice. I also set up the digital infrastructure and explored key partnerships to support growth.
Those early weeks and months were full of hard work—long hours, lots of learning, and constant problem-solving. But it was also one of the most rewarding periods of my life. I was turning my vision into something real, something I had full ownership over.
Looking back, launching Moonstone wasn’t about perfect timing. It was about clarity of purpose and the willingness to move forward, even when the path wasn’t clear. That’s what carried me from the idea phase to actual execution—and that’s what continues to drive me today.

Mojgan , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
With over 13 years of experience in the global real estate industry, I specialize in helping people find their place in Southwest Florida—a vibrant, sun-soaked region I proudly call home. But my journey isn’t just about real estate. It’s about resilience, reinvention, and building something meaningful from the ground up.
When I moved from Germany to the United States, I didn’t just change countries—I transformed my life. I arrived with a dream, an unshakable work ethic, and a deep desire to make a difference. That personal journey fuels everything I do today.
From day one, I dove into the U.S. real estate market with full commitment—learning quickly, working tirelessly, and staying grounded in values that matter most: trust, integrity, and authentic human connection. Over the years, I’ve built more than just a successful business—I’ve built lasting relationships. My clients know they can count on me not just during a transaction, but long after the deal is done.
I work with a diverse, international clientele—ranging from first-time buyers and retirees to global investors and vacation home seekers. I bring a rare blend of local market insight and international perspective to every interaction.
What truly sets me apart is actually how I connect—with intention, empathy, and consistency. Clients often say, “You feel like part of the family,” and to me, that’s the highest compliment. I don’t just help people buy or sell real estate—I help them feel seen, understood, and supported every step of the way.
Behind the scenes, my success is rooted in discipline. I show up every day—early mornings, constant learning, staying ahead of market trends, and consistently creating value for my clients and followers alike. I don’t just wait for opportunities—I create them through focused effort and unwavering dedication. Whether it’s staying active on social media, providing educational content, or making time for one-on-one connections, I believe consistency builds trust—and trust builds community.
Starting over in a new country wasn’t easy, but it gave me perspective, grit, and a clear purpose. This isn’t just a career—it’s my calling. Real estate is the platform, but people are the heart of what I do. And what I’m truly passionate about is helping others create futures they’re genuinely excited about—right here in beautiful Southwest Florida.
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
As a woman and small business owner in Southwest Florida for over 13 years, I’ve learned that a strong reputation is built through consistency, authenticity, and truly caring about the people you serve. It’s not just about closing deals—it’s about building trust, listening deeply, and showing up with integrity every single time.
My approach has always been relationship-first. I focus on understanding what matters most to each client and guiding them through one of the biggest decisions of their lives with clarity and confidence. Over the years, that commitment has created lasting connections and a business built on referrals, loyalty, and community.
To other women and business owners: know that your values are your power. You don’t have to follow someone else’s path to succeed. Lead with heart, be resilient, and trust in your ability to make an impact. Your reputation will grow from the way you make people feel—respected, supported, and seen.

How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
As a real estate broker in Southwest Florida with a focus on the global market, maintaining strong client relationships and fostering long-term loyalty is central to my business strategy. I combine personalized communication, local expertise, and global reach to stay connected with clients throughout and beyond the transaction.
I keep in touch through a mix of regular follow-ups, personalized emails, and targeted market updates tailored to each client’s interests—whether they are international investors, relocating families, or seasonal buyers. I also leverage digital tools like CRM systems, video calls, and social media to stay accessible across time zones and maintain ongoing engagement.
To build brand loyalty, I prioritize trust, transparency, and value. I offer expert insights into the Southwest Florida market, provide guidance on cross-border transactions, and connect clients with a reliable network of local professionals, from attorneys to contractors. I also host virtual tours, webinars, and exclusive property previews to keep international clients informed and involved.
Ultimately, I strive to deliver a high-touch experience that makes every client feel supported, heard, and valued—before, during, and long after the sale. That’s what turns a one-time transaction into a lasting relationship.
