Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Moira Reed. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Moira, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?

As we grow, we hide parts of ourselves away. Hiding is a learned behavior that kept you safe when you were little. Your body and mind did what it was programmed to do for emotional survival. My mission is to rediscover all those parts that you packed away. To bring out the gifts that only you have. We are all born with core feelings of excitement, joy, curiosity and pride. Just look at a baby and you’ll see this. I want to bring this light back out of you, so you can shine in your life and set your spirit free.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

I have always been into the metaphysical. About 15 years ago I went to an energy healer for the first time and had what they call a mystical experience. As she was working on me I felt as if I was morphing into everything around me. I felt limbs coming off of me at my abdomen, I felt like I was floating and I felt connected to Spirit in a way I had never before. From here I began meditating in a different way. All I wanted to do was connect to that energy again. In 2016 I became a Reiki Master which then led me to take a 9 month intuitive class. I began reading people and getting messages from the other side. In 2017, I took a leap of faith and opened my own business. I work on people one on one, I am able to see and feel how you are feeling, so we really get down to your core issues. I also lead group meditations, have a membership space where I do weekly tarot readings; I also teach and attune others in Reiki. People of all ages and backgrounds come to me. Men, women, teenagers and young adults. Spiritual, religious, non religious, atheists, etc. I am following my passion and just keep going along for the ride. The stories I’ve heard and the people I’ve met continue to carry me on. We all have stories, too many of us feel alone. I want you to discover why you’re here and know that you matter. Now, more than ever it’s time for you to shine in your life and Shine FREE!! Awaken your power, deepen your connection with Spirit. Heal from the past and help our future!

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?

In 2020, I had to pivot. When there was so much fear in the world I began doing online meditations every day at 2PM via Facebook. This lead me to create The Shine Free Family. It is a member space where I have my meditations available to you at all times. Basic mediations to meditations that boost your confidence, a gratitude meditation, a grounding meditation etc. My intention with these is to have you learn how to meditate on your own but you always have these to help you at any time. I also come on every Monday and do Tarot Readings for every sign of the zodiac. Along with getting a weekly reading, you get energy updates from me and videos on how to protect your energy, call your power back and more. As a member, you will get clear guidance for your life path. You will open your intuition and open your heart to your true gifts and Divine Purpose. During this time I also grew my over the phone and zoom clientele. I work with people not just locally, but all over the world. I have clients all across the U.S., Ireland, New Zealand, Germany, Canada, Sweden etc and I absolutely love it!

We’d love to hear about you met your business partner.

I have recently met a business partner, Actually someone with whom I went to high school. We hadn’t seen each other in 25 years. He was going though his own awakening spurred on by the chaos of 2020. Fast forward three years and we have decided to go into business with each other and open The Shine Free Healing Center. I will continue doing what I am doing in this center, we are going to have other healing modalities as well and what I am most excited about is we will have the Energy Enhancement System.
