We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Modupe Ariyo. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Modupe below.
Hi Modupe, thanks for joining us today. We’re complete cheeseballs and so we love asking folks to share the most heartwarming moment from their career – do you have a touching moment you can share with us?
I always tell people my undergraduate pharmacy school story is one of a kind. Not because I started my first year without accommodation, or because I spent some of my school years battling depression. No—it’s unique simply because it’s mine.
I went through a lot during my time in school. Those moments of depression shaped me, teaching me empathy and putting me in other people’s shoes. They helped me see life through a different lens. And because of that, I’ve made it my mission to help others become their best selves. It’s why I love seeing people bloom and live in rhythm with life.
When we derail from our originality, it affects our core. It makes us seek validation in things outside our original design, and that always leads to frustration. But I’ve learned that when we embrace our true selves, we thrive.
Now, I help people live their best lives, build healthy habits and embrace their Originality.
I’m Coach Moh for short and I’m a Personal development and wellness Coach.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My name is Modupe Ariyo, and my journey is one that has shaped not just who I am but also the work I do today. I’m a pharmacist, an accountability coach, and a clarity-driven personal development Coach who helps people move from confusion to clarity. My passion lies in empowering individuals to achieve their goals, embrace their originality, and live a life that aligns with their true purpose.
My entry into this space was deeply personal. During my university years, I faced significant challenges, including moments of depression, anxiety, and self-doubt. These experiences not only tested my resilience but also reshaped my perspective. They taught me empathy, helped me understand the struggles others face, and inspired me to help people find clarity and live fulfilling lives.
Today, I offer services like accountability coaching, clarity sessions, and productivity tools such as personalized spiritual and productivity journals under my brand, *Bliss*. I also run a community dedicated to visionaries who want to commit to their goals and stay consistent in pursuing their dreams.
Additionally, my coaching extends to personal branding, where I guide individuals to discover their voice, monetize their vision, and remain aligned with their core values.
What sets me apart is my ability to see potential where others may see confusion. I’m not just helping people achieve their goals—I’m walking with them as they rediscover themselves, embrace their originality, and bloom into their best selves.
My approach is deeply personal because I’ve been in their shoes. I understand the frustration of being out of sync with your true design, and I know the joy of finally finding your rhythm.
I’m most proud of the lives I’ve impacted—people who have found clarity, consistency, and the courage to pursue their dreams.
I’ve helped over 5000 people realign their lives, gain structure, find satisfying jobs, reclaim self confidence and live their best lives.
My work isn’t just about setting goals—it’s about aligning with your unique purpose and thriving in your originality. That’s what I stand for, and that’s what I’m here to help you achieve.

If you could go back in time, do you think you would have chosen a different profession or specialty?
If I could go back, I’d absolutely choose to become a personal development coach. Helping people find clarity, stay consistent, and achieve their goals has become the heartbeat of what I do.
While my journey as a pharmacist played an important role in shaping my skills and perspective, it was my experiences with personal growth and overcoming challenges that ignited my passion for coaching.
There’s something incredibly fulfilling about walking alongside others as they rediscover themselves, embrace their originality, and bloom into the best versions of who they’re meant to be.
So yes, without hesitation, I’d choose to be a personal development coach. It’s not just a profession for me—it’s a purpose, and I’m grateful to be doing it.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
A lesson I had to unlearn was the belief that just because something is a passion, it shouldn’t be monetized. In the early stages of my career, I loved helping people and thought, “Because I enjoy it so much, I can just do it for free.” I felt that the fulfillment I got from seeing others grow was enough.
But over time, I realized that my expertise, time, and energy are valuable. While passion is essential, it’s also important to honor your worth and set boundaries. I had to unlearn that giving freely without proper compensation could lead to burnout and undervalue the impact I was making.
It was a tough realization, but it ultimately taught me the importance of balancing passion with professionalism. Now, I approach my work with the understanding that it’s okay to charge for the value I bring, and that my passion doesn’t diminish in value just because I’m being compensated for it.
