Hi Mladen, thanks for joining us today. Can you take us back in time to the first dollar you earned as a creative – how did it happen? What’s the story?

It was a spring 2020. Covid was a big thing back then, the situation in my country (Montenegro) was very bad. Everyone was struggling financially. I had my page (@designsbymladen) just for fun and to communicate with other graphic designer. After a month of designing only for fun, a client came by my page and contacted me. It was a famous basketball page BallDawgs. We agreed on terms and we began to work together. I was so happy that i started earning from my hobby, even my parents couldnt believe it.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

Hi everyone, I am Mladen Batizic, a graphic designer from a small country named Montenegro. Since I am a big Milan fan, I ran a page with a friend. I’ve seen professional clubs have matchday designs. That’s how I started making pictures for our website. Later I decided to make a page just for design. From then on, everything went great. I worked with my club Red Star. But my best success was when I started working with MozzartSport. These are my best and dearest clients ever. The best site and page in my region. I have collected 10 thousand followers on my page, which is a huge success for me. I’m really proud of what I do. Clients always come and ask about my services. So there is always work to do. My goal now is to make it to the NBA. I want to work with the NBA and grow even more in this business. Some NBA clubs also shared me on social networks.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

In order for people to notice you and follow you later, the most important thing is to be persistent and always do your best. Followers and fans will come in more and more numbers over time. You just need to be active and dedicated to what you do.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?

Like I said, I’d love to work for the NBA. But my biggest goal is to cooperate with AC Milan. That would really fill me up and give me an even bigger wind at my back. I’m also happy that I’m making money from my hobby, it’s also one of the main things in my persistence.
