Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Miss Raindrop. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Miss, appreciate you joining us today. What was it like going from idea to execution? Can you share some of the backstory and some of the major steps or milestones?
Well with their being so many thoughts running through my mind and wanting to become successful, the first thing that I do is write it down so I won’t forget or put it in my notes. Once I circle back around to it I then set goals and deadlines to get things done. That can consist of doing the research or making appointments anything that has to be done. Everyday I’m making sure that I am working towards my goal so that I can execute my plan!
Miss, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
One thing for sure and two things for certain I am a jill of all trades. Most people know me as an recording Artist and performer, but it just don’t stop there. First I am a mother of 3, I’m a Author I wrote my first book Delinquent to Determined that’s on Amazon or you can get from my website WWW.MissRaindrop.Org, I’m an Actress and starred my first main roll in “The Female Hustler 2” thats on Tubi, and I own and operate many of business from my daycare, Real estate, and cleaning company. I’m always working and busy! I really don’t care to be famous, I rather be rich s thats why I fell back a little from the entertainment business and started focusing on other things because this industry can drain you, but no matter what music will always be in my heart, no matter how many times I try t get away from it, it always find me so I know my biggest breakthrough is yet to come!
Let’s talk M&A – we’d love to hear your about your experience with buying businesses.
I have a realty company and a Day Care that changed my life! you really can’t go wrong because people will always need a place to live and families need childcare, babies are born every second of the day! not to mention i’ll always have a place I can live rent free!
Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
This goes back to when I said that I be trying to get away from the music business and that I rather be rich than famous. I remember being broke and grinding just to be able to invest into my music career. I invested thousands and thousands of dollars when it comes to studio time, shows, my image, videos, features, marketing and so on. Once I started getting real money from my other businesses I just knew then okay now I really have money to invest into my music career, don’t get me wrong I do make money in my music career, but its nothing like the money making from my other investments. I found myself still taking my profits my other investments and investing it back into my music and this industry is not cheap! you have to keep up, everyday! I told myself I will not go back broke investing into my music career when I can put my profits into things that I know for sure that will make me wealthy, so don’t be surprised if I just completely fall back from the music industry if I don’t get my breakthrough sooner than later. Again I rather be rich than famous! but I would alway want to engage with my community and peers and be inspiration to others.
