We were lucky to catch up with Miss Honey Bee recently and have shared our conversation below.

Miss Honey, appreciate you joining us today. One of our favorite things to hear about is stories around the nicest thing someone has done for someone else – what’s the nicest thing someone has ever done for you?

I’m blessed to say that my life has been filled with kind acts, and I feel confident plenty more are in store! One of the kindest things anyone has ever done for me was provide me housing for two months, at no monetary exchange, because they simply supported my choice to live my higher purpose.

Miss Honey, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

Hi, Beloved!

Call me, Miss Honey Bee of the H(eye)st!

Guided towards the path of healing by the Spirit of my Great Grandmother, I am a pure reflection of Self; a body known as Spirit Soul with a present purpose to live as an authentic expression of Divinity.

Throughout this journey I have held many titles, with my current roles reflecting: Author, Oracle, Self Love Coach, and Shaman. Within the span of 9 years, I have been on my own journey of Self Actualization, created a self healing guide, written three books, virtually influenced millions to reconnect with themselves, hosted several events geared towards creating community, healing the wounded warrior, and expressing the authentic self, and much more! In addition, I am the Creator and Founder of EyeGotThyme; a Spiritual Entity that provides sacred space for those on an ascension journey seeking safe space, soul care, and spiritual guidance.

At EyeGotThyme, we offer In-Person Healing Events, One-on-One Coaching & Guidance, and Virtual Healing Sessions intended to provide frequency that transforms, information that enlightens, and tools that equipt. Our mission is to assist with raising the vibration of the collective consciousness by creating a world of individuals with roots in Love that inspires self acceptance, self care, self confidence, and a unified collective body.

Presently, EyeGotThyme has a team of two; Miss Honey Bee & Divinity. As we continue our journey, we are enthusiastically moving forward with gratitude knowing more greatness has already been delivered, and our team has already grown!

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

It is an absolute pleasure and thrill to share that my social media audience was built entirely on the foundation of Authenticity! (Wheww! Yes, ma’am!) After several years on social media with no intention of specifically being an influencer, it was when I began showing up as myself without the mask that my social media presence and following skyrocketed. When presented with the choice of whose algorithm I would honor, I chose my own. For me, this meant I shared content on my terms, on my own time, with myself being my intended audience. Later, I discovered this also allowed for me to teach my audience about Self Love by example. As oppose to learning the algorithm of multiple apps, and adopting the mindset of others, I chose to listen, honor, and value my own inner compass. I commend myself on my choices for the support I receive is being gifted to a version of myself that is honest, pure, and sincere; real.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?

After starting my journey in 2014, while working as a Performer on Holland America Cruise Line, it wasn’t until 2020 when I decided to dedicate my time solely to entrepreneurship as a Healer. At the time, I was on my third year working as a Genius Bar Technician for Apple, a job I executed very well with passion. The shift towards entrepreneurship was simple in the beginning, as it felt like the ‘honeymoon’ stage of a new relationship. It was in October of 2021 when things began to take a turn. By this point, I had chosen to step away from New York and travel to Las Vegas. What started off as supporting a friend on his move, turned into being on an assignment; one that was for God.

While in Las Vegas, it became clear that New York would be a distant memory for some time. With no plan of action, and no idea what was next, I did what I knew best… sat and listened. Las Vegas became Stockton. Stockton became Los Angeles. Los Angeles became Anaheim. Then back to Los Angeles again. There was San Diego, Seattle, Portland, San Bernardino, Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana, Chicago, Kansas City, Buffalo, Niagara Falls, Miami, Puerto Rico, Orlando… the list kept growing. Whether bus, train, car, bike, flight, or my good legs, I listened to that inner voice and went! Sometimes I slept at a friend’s. Sometimes with family and relatives. Sometimes it was the bus, the train, or a beach tower. There were even moments of no sleep at all, for I chose to walk all throughout the night. Although I found myself scared most of the time, I had faith it was all for a higher purpose, and the reason would reveal itself in divine time.

As of today, almost two years later, I scribe comfortably in my Downtown Los Angeles Loft, surrounded by gifts received in gratitude and love from those who have supported me along my mission. I knew the day would come when I would have stable housing again. I’m happy to say… “Honey, We Made It!” …And I Did!!

Almost two years ago, God asked me to follow my friend back to the West Coast. I listened, learning it was for me to heal deep rooted trauma from my childhood. Almost two years later, I return a healed warrior, a God(dess) incarnate, and a lover of creation.
