We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Misantropia Miscelanea. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Misantropia below.
Misantropia, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Can you share a story about the kindest thing someone has done for you and why it mattered so much or was so meaningful to you?
Many years ago, when I was just 17 and started my solo artist career (in an underground way as today) a man whose name I can’t remember told me the most motivating words no one ever told me:”No matter what the people may say to your music, up there on stage you are the general, nobody else can say anything when you’re at your own, but shake their heads, listen to the lyrics and enjoy the time”. At that time, my world turned 360 degrees and I opened my eyes finding out that what I create is not something to be controlled by another one who is not me, and mind making my craziness an structure able to be understood. Since then, I developed a lot of music until now, and still working on it, with less passion but the same willingness and effort, because everyone has a message to give.
Misantropia, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I’m Misantropia miscelanea, an underground artist, and I’m 25; 16 years already, playing guitar, bass, drums, and learning harmonica. I started into music thru my friends who pushed me to make music, and live shows, that due to covid quarantine and stuff I had to place for further years, meanwhile, I’m still creating music and making promotion of my works on social networks. What sets me appart, I guess, is the raw voice and the composition and my performance, not the typical guy, but someone who always raises with truth beyond the beauty and glamour, and not ashamed at all to what I have to say, I don’t mind if the media censures my music, at least I want somebody hears my lyrics and starts to think about the future of the humanity.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
Thru the past years I had to feed my brain and open my mind with tons of books and theories, because my house family is held by religion and ministries related to it, so in one way or another I’m escaping out of it, for my comfort. And the story is:
The last time I’ve been in a church, a Pastor pushed me to my knees against my will and everyone started to scream surrounded upon me like if i was surrendering for being pushed, then I felt violated, told my mom and never came back because to me is harmful feeling how blind is a community where I grew up, and see them more entombed than I am, it makes me sick.
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
Creativity makes us who we want to be that’s the most rewarding aspect, besides the material when you’re selftrusted and real to your words, then it comes your best at creativity, you can picture yourself as you are inside, in many songs I picture myself as a kid, but in others I’m the most sincere man you can see, that’s art, and what it has to make us feel.
