We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Miriah Stacy a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, Miriah thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.

I believe the most meaningful project I have worked on is the one I currently am working on. The GIRLSONTHASCENE mission is to bridge the gap globally between creators, influencers, designers, entrepreneurs, talent, and overall influencers. I never had anyone advocate for me even though I graduated with a good GPA and I was a good student working hard in my field. I realized how hard it was for me for others to see what I could bring to the table, so I wanted to create a platform where women could showcase themselves in cities around the world. Women sometimes are overlooked when it comes to people actually recognizing their achievements. Furthermore, my mother had died and she was my biggest supporter. I don’t have any support really with my daughter so I knew if I felt I was facing a lack of support in both my home and career … I knew other women felt the same. I am just thankful that God gave me the strength to be my own knight in shining armor and pull myself up out of those feelings. I think far too often women wait around for someone to save them when they could be living life by getting up themselves. I want to empower women to be able to get up..not just with just my words, but how the entire tour is showcased with the words and talents of people that are knowledged and skilled in multiple areas.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

Hi there! My name is Miriah Stacy! I am the owner of MOSTPRODUCTIONSLLC, an independent production company. Since starting the company, I have worked on multiple projects bringing ideas to life for multiple individuals and companies.

Currently, I have been working on my production company’s original GIRLSONTHASCENE WOMEN EMPOWERMENT TOUR that seeks to empower and inspire women on a global scale.

The tour turned officially international as of January 2024. We had a designer and talent from Italy fly out to be a part of the tour in California.
In California we had multiple events including the: “Brunch On The Beach”, “Network = Net Worth” , and the “Stars In Pasadena” Fashion Show..
The events in California are a part of a larger production that will grant people access to stream and watch the tour in places around the world. We have already gotten more international interests from talent and creatives that want us to come to their countries.
Currently the next tourstop is in New York City at the end of April, so I have been preparing everything for that.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

I believe a story in my journey that shows my resilience is how I’m currently working hard for my daughter. Some people don’t realize how hard I work for my daughter.. Even though I show up for my business and makes sure that business gets done, I don’t have anyone helping me, motivating me, pushing me to keep going or anything. I’m the only one putting in the work day in and day out. I deliver food with my daughter still too. No one hired me after I graduated in my field so I was determined to put in the work myself. I don’t like people looking limitations on what I can or can’t do so I go get it myself. With God all things are possible.

In your view, what can society to do to best support artists, creatives and a thriving creative ecosystem?

I believe it is so important to cultivate and curate spaces that support positive ways to express your talents. That’s what the #GIRLSONTHASCENE seeks to do on a global scale.
