Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Miracle Walker. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Miracle , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. One of our favorite things to hear about is stories around the nicest thing someone has done for someone else – what’s the nicest thing someone has ever done for you?
One of the kindest acts someone has ever done for me happened a few years ago when I decided to purchase my first camera. Being someone who loves making wish lists, I find it helpful to stay organized and motivated in saving for the things I desire, both professionally and personally. So, with excitement, I created an Amazon cart filled with all the camera equipment I dreamed of having.
In a lighthearted manner, I made a Facebook post, saying, “Who wants to buy my Amazon cart with all my camera equipment?” Little did I know that this innocent post would lead to an incredible act of kindness. After a few days, a member of the community sent me a message, saying, “I have been following your photography journey on social media for a long time, and I would love to purchase your Amazon cart of equipment to support your growth as a photographer!”
The joy and gratitude I felt in that moment were very overwhelming. I had initially posted it as a joke, not expecting anyone to take it seriously, but this stranger, who didn’t even know me personally, believed in my passion and invested in my dream. It was a beautiful reminder of what my mentors and parents used to tell me: “You never know who’s watching you, so always strive to do the right thing and be the best version of you.”
This act of kindness left a lasting impact on me. It taught me that there are compassionate individuals out there who genuinely care about others’ dreams and are willing to support them, even in unexpected ways. It inspired me to pay it forward and to be more mindful of the opportunities I have to make a positive difference in someone else’s life.
Years later, thanks to the financial boost and encouragement I received from that kind-hearted stranger, I managed to save enough money to purchase a new camera. At the time, I was working a job where I met a young man who expressed interest in photography. So, when I got my new camera, I decided to give him my old one. The joy and excitement on his face were priceless, and I couldn’t help but feel a profound sense of fulfillment. It was a beautiful moment where the ripple effect of kindness continued, and I was able to inspire someone else’s creative journey, just as I had been inspired.
This act of kindness taught me that even small gestures can have a significant impact on someone’s life. It reaffirmed the importance of always being kind, supportive, and attentive to the needs of others. It showed me the power of believing in people, even when they might doubt themselves. Most importantly, it reminded me that acts of kindness have the ability to create a chain reaction, fostering a more compassionate and loving world.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
Hello, I’m Miracle Walker, a 24-year-old multimedia creator from Canton, Ohio. My journey into the world of multimedia began in high school during my sophomore year. It was my broadcast media teacher who noticed my passion for advocating for the community and visual storytelling. She saw a young professional in the making and encouraged me to be a host on our weekly school district show, “This Week In Canton City Schools.” This opportunity turned out to be a pivotal moment in my life, having the chance to interview prominent figures like Sherrod Brown, the Senator of Ohio, Anthony Munoz, and spending three summers highlighting one of Canton, Ohio’s best community programs for our youth called EN-RICH-MENT-FINE Arts!
As a host and content creator for this program, I learned valuable skills such as writing scripts, conducting interviews in an authentic manner, and sharing compelling stories with others. This experience not only honed my abilities but also helped me discover my true passion within the field of media, which was giving a voice to the voiceless and highlighting organizations within the community that help our youth grow within themselves. I knew that I wanted to pursue a career in this area after high school.
Fast forward eight years later, I am proud to have graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Digital Media Production, and established my own multimedia business called “Be Boldly Creative.” Our mission at Be Boldly Creative is to empower and embolden young people to break free from their comfort zones and fully embrace their personal and professional development through creative expression. I strongly believe that genuine creativity flourishes when we dare to be boldly ourselves.
One thing that sets Be Boldly Creative apart is our unwavering commitment to personal growth and purpose. In everything I do, I ensure that I am constantly evolving and learning. I am selective about the job opportunities I take on and the collaborations I engage in, making sure they align with my values and provide opportunities for growth.
I take immense pride in the positive impact my work has had on youth over the years. Watching them gain confidence, embrace their uniqueness, and produce exceptional projects fills me with joy and reinforces the importance of my mission.
My journey from a high school host to the founder of Be Boldly Creative has been incredible. My passion for advocating and storytelling led me to discover my purpose in multimedia. With a commitment to personal growth and a focus on empowering young creatives, I strive to make a lasting difference in the world of multimedia and beyond. Always remember, to be BOLD is to be YOU!

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
Sure, here’s the rewritten response in the first person as if you (Miracle) were speaking:
As I reflect on my life, I realize that one of the most significant lessons I had to unlearn was the belief that failure should be feared and avoided at all costs. This mindset was deeply ingrained in me, influenced by societal pressures and past negative experiences. Growing up, I associated failure with shame and disappointment, which hindered my personal growth and creativity.
The backstory behind this lesson lies in my early childhood experiences and the education system that prioritized success over the value of learning. Additionally, cultural norms and expectations also contributed to my fear of failure.
However, as I matured and gained more life experiences, I began to challenge these beliefs. I learned that failure is not a reflection of my worth but rather an opportunity for learning and improvement. It was a gradual process of unlearning and embracing a growth mindset.
To overcome my fear of failure, I engaged in self-reflection and sought support from mentors and peers. I started reframing past experiences and celebrating even the smallest successes along the way. This shift in perspective allowed me to take more calculated risks and pursue my passions with greater confidence.
Now, I fully embrace failure as a natural and valuable part of the learning process. It no longer holds me back, but rather propels me forward on my journey of personal and professional growth. Embracing failure has opened up new possibilities and opportunities, empowering me to be bolder in my creative pursuits and to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
I am proud of the person I’ve become and the lessons I’ve learned along the way. Unlearning the fear of failure has been transformative, and I am committed to continuously challenging myself, evolving, and embracing my true self. Remember, to be bold is to be authentically you!

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
Yes, the driving goal and mission behind my creative journey is to empower youth. I am dedicated to helping young individuals become more self-aware and fully understand their identities within themselves. By doing so, I aim to equip them with the confidence and self-assurance needed to approach life with resilience and authenticity.
Throughout my work in multimedia and storytelling, I strive to create content that resonates with young audiences, inspiring them to embrace their uniqueness and inner strengths. I believe that true creativity flourishes when young people dare to be boldly themselves and express their authentic selves without fear of judgment.
My mission is to provide a platform for youth to share their stories, struggles, and triumphs, fostering a sense of belonging and empathy within the community. By highlighting their experiences, I hope to encourage open conversations about self-awareness, mental health, and personal growth.
Through my multimedia business, Be Boldly Creative, I want to offer workshops, mentorship programs, and creative projects that enable young individuals to explore their passions, talents, and interests. I aim to guide them in developing a strong sense of self-identity, helping them navigate life’s challenges with confidence and grace.
Ultimately, I am driven by the belief that investing in the youth and nurturing their self-awareness is key to creating a generation of empowered and empathetic individuals. I aspire to be a positive influence, guiding young minds towards self-discovery and personal fulfillment, and I am committed to making a lasting impact on the lives of the youth I serve.
