Miracle, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Alright, so you had your idea and then what happened? Can you walk us through the story of how you went from just an idea to executing on the idea

How Miracle Skin came to be was in fact a Miracle. Skincare was always an option for me growing up because I always managed clear skin all of my teenage years. I would vividly remember my mother getting facials my and she would treat me when she could. Fast forward to my late 20’s , I had begun to break out badly. I would pick my breakouts and developed dark spots on my skin from old acne. It was hard to be confident in my natural beauty because of my blemishes. I started browsing YouTube & social media trying to seek help for my skin. Nothing seemed to be working. I started getting facials again but my skin problems remained. I felt defeated because I had no more options. That’s when I knew that I had to learn about skin of color.

So boom, I look into an esthetician school and I was enrolled a week later. I graduated and was ready to start my new venture of being an esthetician and then a month later the pandemic happened. Service provided businesses were shutting down and I felt like I was at a stand still. Somehow I still had this fire in me to get my esthetic career started so I started doing house calls during the pandemic. I would study businesses that I admired and did a lot of research on google of what I needed to start a business. I would invest the money I made at my full time job back into continuing education. A few months later I rented out my first space, grew my clientele via social media and word of mouth. 4 years later, I’m a full time entrepreneur in esthetics and I love everything about what I do.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

At Miracle Skin, we provide a holistic approach to skincare by delivering treatment plans with effective results and a focus on a lifestyle of wellness.

My journey started because I was determined to learn the way that skin works so I could gain my confidence back but I had no idea what God had in store for me. Starting a business in the pandemic was built on crazy faith. I was at a place in my life where God had called me to step into something greater that not only would be beneficial for me but that could help others as well. As I was doing the work on myself, God started aligning my steps. There were many challenges that I faced along the way because of my own control so when things became difficult, I released control and put my trust in God through every business decision.

What sets me apart is the education, passion and experience I give to each and every one of my clients. Wellness is a major role in skin health so I do my best by honoring a lifestyle of wellness as well as supporting my clients in their skin care journey while challenging them to practice holistic skin healing. It was truly important for me to create a safe space for my clients to feel loved and supported.

I’m proud of the resilience that I’ve gained in this journey of entrepreneurship. With faith and discipline, you can achieve whatever you’re passionate about. When God gives you purpose, it’s up to you execute it. Just start.

How did you build your audience on social media?

Building an audience on social media is all about creating a platform that caters to what you would want to see. Do your research! Find a mentor and seek guidance because their are plenty of business mistakes that could be avoided if you ask for help.

Find inspiration but make it your own. Market yourself everyday! You have to believe in you before anyone else does. Ask family and friends for practice but you have to post the content.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?

My most effective strategy on growing clientele is building relationships with your clients authentically. Always engage with love. Be professional at all times. Always follow up with your clients. Promote yourself & keep your clients engaged. Find a way to introduce future clients to what you do.
