Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Miracle G. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Miracle, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Everyone has crazy stuff happen to them, but often small business owners and creatives, artists and others who are doing something off the beaten path are often hit with things (positive or negative) that are so out there, so unpredictable and unexpected. Can you share a crazy story from your journey?
My work always been based on real emotions from my actual life and they’re most likely relatable is some type of way. In my first book ‘Spilt Wine’, a poem book, I express emotions of guilt, shame, lust and love for the ex lovers that I dealt with in the past and during those times I were what people call an alcoholic. At a young age it always seem to be very common to become one but as we get older we don’t always want to accept accountability in our addictions. I mixed love, lust and loneliness with alcohol to suppress the feelings that I didn’t want to accept and feel. A few years later, after therapy and patient self work, I decided to come to terms with everything that I felt but I couldn’t bring myself into having that motivation. But idea struck in my mind…go back to the old cycle for a short period of time to get the same words and thoughts that I had before so it could feel like the first time of that specific emotion for the person. I began drinking little by little only for those nights of writing each chapter. Soon after, every poem was written beautifully.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My name is Miracle G and I am multihyphenate writer who loves to take my time perfecting my craft and every writing style I can possibly do. I’ve been studying creative writing and film studies in college and thats where I grew into the love of being an author, those college years were the important era of mine that I fell in love with writing poems the most and soon after, I began writing a collection of poems to soon publish books along the way to express emotions that not only for me to get through life obstacles but for others as well! Along with being an author I am aspiring screenwriter also! What set me apart humbly from others is my drive to help heal and make others feel comfortable with who they and what they feel, no matter if you are a female, male and/or gender fluid, etc. Most people need that little push or wants an outlet to hear, read, listen to things that are related to their lives and their emotions.
I am proud of starting my journey into my craft knowing that I did it and that I didn’t wait and listened to any naysayers; so I’m proud of myself for staying strong and going for it ! I want my supporters and future readers to know that they have a friend in me in my books, in my films, in any piece of work. That they are not alone and I am here to be a miracle in their lives !

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
My main goal that’s pushing my creative journey is to lift, heal and help others through my words. I used to be one of those people that couldn’t talk about anything and it was very difficult to communicate the way that I wanted and supposed to. However, seeing others struggle with the same issues made things feel ten times worse because I want to always heal the way the world navigates.
Is there something you think non-creatives will struggle to understand about your journey as a creative?
The drive and faith that it doesn’t matter how long it will take to get recognition I, as a creative, has to keep it pushing and have the “Just Do It” mindset on at all times. Most of that time, I will be having mental breakdowns on moment while the next moment I can be completely happy and there can be no explanation for that, just know that loving the craft and having love for a career that allows the fun and expression in imagination is unbeatable.
