Hi Minka, thanks for joining us today. Let’s jump right into how you came up with the idea?
The idea for my creative services business was born out of a lifelong love for art and design, combined with a deep curiosity about what makes brands resonate with people. Growing up, I was always drawn to visuals—how a logo could evoke trust or how a color palette could make something feel luxurious or approachable.
The defining moment for me came during my early days as an art director when I worked on projects that showcased the transformative power of cohesive branding. One particular project, a rebrand for a local community organization, solidified my passion. Witnessing their excitement when the new identity connected with their audience was deeply rewarding.
At that moment, I realized I wanted to create those impactful experiences for others. The rationale for starting my business became clear: businesses need a strong visual identity to thrive, and I possess the skills, knowledge, and vision to deliver that. I also understood the market and recognized a demand for personalized, strategic branding that is visually appealing and tells a compelling story.
Launching the business was both exhilarating and nerve-wracking. However, with a foundation of expertise, a commitment to understanding my clients’ unique stories, and a belief in the power of design to make an impact, I felt confident it was a worthwhile endeavor. Building meaningful relationships with clients and witnessing their growth has validated that belief every step of the way.

I’m an art director with a deep passion for creating brand identities and logos that look visually stunning and tell meaningful stories. My journey into this field began as a blend of artistic curiosity and strategic thinking. As a child, I was always drawn to design—how a single image, color, or shape could communicate so much without words. Over time, this fascination evolved into a career where I got to craft visual languages that help brands connect with their audiences.

Do you think there is something that non-creatives might struggle to understand about your journey as a creative? Maybe you can shed some light?
Non-creatives often don’t realize the depth of strategy and effort behind creative work. It’s not just about making things look good—it’s about solving problems, conveying messages, and connecting with audiences effectively. The process involves research, brainstorming, and refining, all of which take time and care. Sharing work requires vulnerability, as it reflects the creator’s vision and passion. Creativity isn’t instant; inspiration is often the result of disciplined effort. Additionally, creatives balance their artistry with managing clients, marketing, and business operations. Great design may seem effortless, but it’s the result of thoughtful, intentional work that deserves recognition.
