Minerva, appreciate you joining us today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
It all started with a simple realization. As a mom and someone passionate about digital marketing, I saw many fellow mompreneurs struggling to manage their business and use their digital presence to drive sales while also being there for their families. I knew firsthand the challenges of balancing both worlds. So, I asked myself, why not lend a hand? I talked to these amazing women and found out that they were finding it hard to get help that truly understood the unique challenges of being both a mom and a business owner. This resonated deeply with me. I’ve been in those situations where my kids needed me right when something important in my work was happening. It’s a tough balance to strike.
That’s how the idea for Social Mompreneurs came to life. It’s a way to help experts, coaches, and consultants – incredible moms who are great at what they do but may not be marketing experts – shine online. We take care of the online stuff like social media and emails, so they can focus on their families and the parts of their businesses where they excel.
My mission is simple: I want these moms to know that they can have successful businesses and happy families. And I want to show my own kids that you can follow your passion, help others, and have a thriving family, all at the same time. That’s the legacy I’m aiming to leave behind with Social Mompreneurs.

Oh, absolutely! Books have been like my guiding star on this entrepreneurial journey. One that stands out is “Lean In” by Sheryl Sandberg. It’s not just about being a woman in business; it’s about leaning into challenges, pushing boundaries, and showing up with confidence. I’ve learned that it’s not about having it all figured out, but having the courage to step up.
Another great one is “Good to Great” by Jim Collins. This book taught me the power of relentless commitment to excellence. It’s all about making those small, consistent steps that ultimately lead to big, lasting success. These books remind me that success isn’t a destination; it’s a journey of constant growth and learning. To us, mindset is everything.
