Mina, appreciate you joining us today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – walk us through the story?

Taking the Leap: Betting on Myself

In my mid 30s, I took a risk that would change everything—I started my own business while still working a full-time job, with the goal of eventually walking away from the stability of a paycheck to build something of my own. The risk? It might not work out. But the bigger risk? Never knowing if it could.

I couldn’t ignore the fire inside me, that relentless drive to help businesses grow. Every time I solved a problem for a client, every campaign that took off, every brand that transformed under my guidance—it all reinforced that I was meant for this. The only way to truly help myself was to take action, to commit fully to the path I knew I was meant to walk.

Sure, there were doubts. Fear of failure crept in. But I realized the ultimate failure would be never trying at all. So, I went all in. And while the journey has been anything but easy, the reward has been undeniable—freedom, fulfillment, and a business that continues to grow because I refused to let the fire burn out.

I got into marketing because I was able to keep my gym open during 2020, while our surrounding competition was closing their doors – as great as it was for us, it was very disheartening for them. I became a strategist and a problem-solver with a passion for helping businesses grow and thrive. My journey into marketing and advertising wasn’t traditional—I didn’t start with a big agency or a massive budget. (I’m actually an ER Nurse). Instead, I built my expertise by working hands-on with real businesses, testing strategies, and seeing firsthand what works in the ever-changing digital landscape. I took the leap into entrepreneurship in my mid 30s, fueled by an undeniable drive to help businesses elevate their brands and generate real results.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

I built my audience on social media primarily through consistency and a focus on organic growth. I made sure to post regularly, engage authentically with my followers, and provide content that was both valuable and relevant to my audience. Over time, I learned what types of posts resonated most and adjusted my strategy accordingly.

For anyone just starting out, my advice is simple: Be consistent, stay authentic, and focus on building relationships rather than just aiming for numbers. It’s easy to get caught up in trying to grow quickly, but genuine engagement and a steady flow of content will build a loyal, engaged following over time. And don’t forget to analyze what’s working and continue to adapt

Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?

I keep in touch with clients daily and consistently. During their onboarding process, I make sure to let them know that I tend to over-communicate, and it’s by design. The idea behind this is to ensure they know I’m always thinking about them, even when they might not hear from me. I want to be proactive and reach out to them before they have to reach out to me, which builds trust and a sense of reliability.

This approach helps foster loyalty because clients feel valued and supported throughout the entire process, not just when they initiate contact. It’s about showing them that I’m fully invested in their success, and that they can count on me at all times
