We were lucky to catch up with Miles Jordan recently and have shared our conversation below.
Miles, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What’s the kindest thing anyone has ever done for you?
The kindest thing anyone has ever done for me is the owner of one of the venues I was playing at , invested 5k in helping me upgrade my equipment, him investing in me helped open a door for me where I was able to do private parties as well as have professional gear to help me be ready to play at the big clubs in Miami.

Miles, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Miles Jordan, and I’m a multifaceted creative working as a sound engineer, music producer, and DJ. I got my start in 2017 after graduating from SAE Institute, where a career placement led me to one of Miami’s most iconic studios—Circle House, owned by reggae legends Inner Circle. That experience opened the door to the music industry in a major way and set the tone for everything I’ve built since.
What I Do
I provide a range of sound services, including:
Studio and Live Sound Engineering – from recording sessions to live performances
Music Production – including custom beats and full-track production
DJ Services – curating vibes and elevating events with sound that connects
My clients include independent artists, event planners, and venues. Whether it’s tracking vocals, mixing tracks to industry standard, troubleshooting technical issues, or packing a dancefloor, my role is to elevate the sound experience—creatively and technically.
What Sets Me Apart
What makes my work unique is my versatility and depth of expertise across three disciplines: engineering, production, and DJing. Being fluent in all three means I can problem-solve on the fly, streamline the creative process, and bring a sharper edge to everything I do—whether I’m behind the boards, the decks, or the scenes.
What I’m Proud Of
I’m especially proud of how far I’ve come as a DJ in just four years. Earning the respect of DJs who’ve been doing it for 20+ years reminds me that dedication, humility, and love for the craft always shine through.
What I Want You to Know
At the heart of everything I do is passion. I want people to remember me not just for my sound—but for being kind, humble, creative, and committed to the music. Whether you’re an artist looking for your next hit, a venue needing a sound pro, or a crowd ready to move—I’m here to bring your vision to life.
.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
One of the most defining moments of resilience in my life happened in my early 20s when I was living in Hawaii.
At the time, I was chasing my dream of building a career in music, but the reality was far from glamorous. I hit a point where I had no stable housing and ended up living out of my van for almost two years. Every day was a struggle—not just financially, but emotionally and mentally. I was isolated, stressed, and honestly, there were many nights I sat in that van thinking about giving it all up. I seriously considered walking away from music altogether.
But something in me just wouldn’t let go of the vision. Even when things felt impossible, I kept pushing—writing, learning, trying to stay sharp. I didn’t have a studio or gear, but I had my passion. I had drive. And I kept telling myself that if I could make it through that, I could make it through anything.
That experience taught me what it really means to endure—not just to survive, but to stay committed when no one’s watching and no success is guaranteed. Years later, when opportunities finally started to open up—like getting placed at Circle House in Miami, producing for artists, DJing events—it all felt like a direct result of not giving up back then.
That period of my life humbled me, but it also made me fearless. Now, whenever I face a tough moment in music or life, I remember that time and remind myself: you’ve already made it through worse—keep going.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
For me, the most rewarding aspect of being an artist and creative is the ability to take something that started as an idea—or even just a feeling—and turn it into something real that moves people.
There’s nothing like watching someone vibe to a beat you made, hearing an artist’s voice come alive in a mix you engineered, or seeing a crowd lose themselves in the energy while you’re DJing. Those moments remind me why I never gave up, even when the road was hard.
Music is personal. It’s emotional. And being able to use my skills to help others express themselves—or create a memory they’ll never forget—is the ultimate reward. I love knowing that something I created or contributed to can shift someone’s mood, inspire them, or make them feel seen.
That connection, that impact—that’s what it’s all about for me. It makes every long night, every setback, every challenge along the way worth it.
