We recently connected with Milda and have shared our conversation below.
Milda, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. When did you first know you wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally?
I’ve always felt that art chose me as much as I chose it. From a very young age, creating was how I expressed myself and made sense of the world. In high school, that passion grew stronger and guided me to study art at university, where I built a foundation in both the creative and technical aspects of my craft.
My professional journey began soon after graduating, when I started participating in local exhibitions and collaborating on creative projects. Those early experiences showed me that art could be more than a personal passion—it could also be a professional path that connects me to others.
When I later moved to the United States, I continued to develop my work and share it with new communities. Even as I explored other ventures and professional opportunities, art remained my constant—my way of communicating, building connections, and staying true to myself. It’s not just what I do; it’s who I am, and it always will be.

Milda, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I’m a mixed media artist who has always believed that creativity is a way to connect and bring beauty into everyday spaces. My journey began early — art has always been how I expressed myself and understood the world. Over the years, that passion evolved into a professional path, leading me to study fine arts and eventually establish my own creative practice.
Today, I collaborate closely with interior designers and hospitality brands, creating custom artworks that elevate hotels and other spaces with a sense of harmony and emotion. My pieces are known for their layered textures, depth, and balance — each one designed to evoke feeling and complement its environment.
What sets my work apart is the personal intention behind every piece. I take pride in translating emotion into visual form and helping clients create spaces that feel inspiring, elegant, and alive. Art, for me, isn’t just decoration — it’s a way of transforming atmosphere and connecting people through beauty and meaning.
This year, I’m honored to be participating in the Art Basel exhibitions and to be represented by Perseus Gallery at the Context Art Fair. It’s a meaningful step in my journey and a beautiful opportunity to share my work with a wider audience.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
For me, the most rewarding part of being an artist is the connection — that moment when something I’ve created touches someone else on a personal level. Art speaks a universal language, and through it, I’ve had the chance to meet and collaborate with people from so many different backgrounds and cultures. Those connections have enriched my life and opened doors I never could have imagined when I first started creating.
I also find deep joy in the creative process itself — the exploration, the layering, the quiet dialogue between intention and intuition. Each piece teaches me something new about patience, balance, and emotion. Knowing that my work can transform a space or bring a sense of inspiration to others is a constant reminder of how powerful art can be in connecting us all.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?
My mission as an artist is to create work that evokes emotion, balance, and connection. I want my art to bring a sense of harmony and inspiration into the spaces it inhabits — to make people feel something genuine, even if they can’t quite put it into words.
I see art as a bridge between people, cultures, and experiences. Through my creative journey, I hope to continue building those connections — collaborating with designers, hotels, and collectors around the world to create pieces that don’t just decorate a space, but transform it.
Ultimately, my goal is simple: to keep creating from the heart, to stay curious, and to use my art to remind people of the beauty that exists in both simplicity and emotion.
