We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Mila a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Mila thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to hear about the things you feel your parents did right and how those things have impacted your career and life.
My parents did a lot of things right, but what stands out most is how they taught me professionalism, respect, and the value of teamwork. They always reminded me that how you treat people reflects who you are, and that mindset has shaped the way I work and lead today.
They also encouraged sports and travel, which made a huge impact on me. Playing sports taught me discipline, time management, and how to be both a leader and a team player. Traveling opened my mind and helped me appreciate different people and cultures. Both experiences gave me flexibility and resilience qualities that have helped me grow personally and professionally.
Watching how my parents balanced structure with support showed me that success isn’t just about skill it’s about attitude, preparation, and how you treat others. Those lessons continue to guide me as I build my craft and navigate new challenges.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My name is Mila Milana, and I work in the creative world of visual arts and culinary design. I’ve always believed that art isn’t limited to one form it’s about finding beauty and meaning in everything we create. My journey started with photography and visual storytelling, but over time I discovered that food carries the same creative power.
In my work, I create not only visually appealing photos but dishes that are just as expressive. Whether behind the camera or in the kitchen, I focus on color, texture, and emotion details that make people feel connected to the moment.
What sets me apart is my personal approach. I combine professionalism and artistry with genuine care for the people I work with. My parents taught me respect, teamwork, and organization, and those values guide everything I do.
I’m most proud of how my craft continues to evolve blending art, food, and storytelling. My goal is simple: to inspire and uplift others through creativity that speaks to both the eyes and the soul.
Alright – so here’s a fun one. What do you think about NFTs?
I think NFTs opened an important conversation about the value of digital art and ownership in the modern world. They gave artists new ways to showcase and sell their work independently, which is empowering especially for creators who might not have access to traditional art spaces or galleries.
At the same time, I think the NFT world is still evolving. There’s a lot of potential, but also challenges around sustainability, accessibility, and authenticity. For me, what matters most is how we use technology to elevate creativity not replace it.
I see NFTs as another tool in the artist’s toolkit. When used thoughtfully, they can help preserve art, reach new audiences, and give artists more control over their work. But art will always be about connection and emotion first technology should serve that, not the other way around.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
Yes, my creative journey is deeply driven by my mission to provide a stable and secure life for my children. Everything I create is rooted in the desire to build something lasting something that can continue to grow and create opportunities long after me. My goal is to turn my creativity into residual income and generational wealth, not just for financial security, but to show my children what’s possible when you lead with passion, purpose, and consistency.
