We were lucky to catch up with Miguel Nunez recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Miguel thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
My mission with Paso Robles Podcast Studio is to give everyday people—especially those in smaller communities like mine—a platform to be seen, heard, and valued. I believe everyone has a story worth telling, and too often, the most authentic voices go unheard because they don’t have access to the tools, time, or confidence to step into the spotlight.
What makes this mission deeply personal is that I’ve lived it. I spent years managing a movie theater, helping others experience stories on screen, but I always felt called to create something that let our community become the storytellers. I know what it feels like to build something from the ground up, to have a vision that no one else fully sees yet—and that’s why I pour my energy into helping others find their voice through podcasting.
I’m not just building a studio. I’m building a culture that says, “You matter. Your ideas matter. And there’s room for you at the mic.” That’s what keeps me going—seeing someone who thought they had nothing to say light up when they hear themselves played back, confident and empowered.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My name is Miguel Nunez, and I’m the owner of Paso Robles Podcast Studio by EZF Media. I’m a lifelong resident of Paso Robles, California, and after spending over 17 years managing the local movie theater, I transitioned into podcasting full-time—something I never expected, but now can’t imagine not doing.
What started as a passion for storytelling and community connection has grown into a mission-driven business that helps individuals, businesses, and organizations share their voice with the world. At the studio, we offer a full suite of podcasting services: high-quality audio/video recording, real-time camera switching, editing, distribution, consulting, and training. Whether you’re brand new to podcasting or looking to elevate your existing show, we guide you through every step—from idea to launch to growth.
We solve a few key problems for our clients. First, we remove the technical overwhelm. You don’t need to know how to edit, film, or upload—we’ve got you. Second, we help people start. So many folks feel like they have something to say but don’t know where to begin. I help them build confidence, organize their message, and hit “record.” Third, we show people how podcasting can actually work for their business or personal brand—through reach, engagement, and even monetization.
What sets us apart is our personal approach. This isn’t a corporate studio where you’re just another client. When you walk in, you’re treated like a creative partner. I bring heart, real-world experience, and a deep understanding of what it’s like to be building something from scratch. I’ve recorded with local restaurant owners, non-profits, wine industry pros, and first-time creators with no media background. Everyone gets the same level of care and quality.
I’m most proud of creating a space where people feel seen, supported, and inspired to tell their story—especially those who never imagined they could. I’ve helped clients go from “I’m not sure if I’m interesting enough” to launching their own shows and gaining real traction.
If there’s one thing I want people to know, it’s this: Your voice matters, and there’s power in sharing it. Whether you’re a business trying to connect with your community or someone with a story to tell, Paso Robles Podcast Studio is here to help you bring that to life—authentically, professionally, and with heart.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
Building my audience on social media has been a slow but steady process. I didn’t go viral overnight—I focused on consistently sharing valuable, authentic content that shows what I do and why I care about it. Even though my follower growth is gradual, the views and engagement I get on my posts often outperform others in the same space, which tells me I’m connecting with the right audience.
My advice? Be real, be consistent, and focus on building trust. Don’t chase trends—share your process, your people, and your passion. The right audience will grow with you.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
The first four months after launching my podcast studio were rough—I had that “What did I just do?” feeling more than once. I had left a long-term job to pursue something I believed in, but the clients weren’t coming as fast as I’d hoped. Still, I kept showing up, kept networking, kept improving. Little by little, things started to shift. Now I have momentum, regular clients, and real excitement behind the work I do. That stretch taught me that resilience isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about staying in the game long enough to find them.
