Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Mighty Sanchez. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Mighty, appreciate you joining us today. Was there an experience or lesson you learned at a previous job that’s benefited your career afterwards?
Being a man of your word
I use to cut grass for a few years as a teenager during the summer. My first year doing it I was not good at being a man of my word and saying that I will show up the next day but I would forget about a doctors appointment or an obligation that my mom set up before hand. After not being a man of my word a few times I had realized that wasn’t good for business and I got do better.
As today, being a man of your word means a lot in the as an artist and business. So I’m thankful to actually learned that lesson in my teenage years
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I consider myself an artist who raps about Jesus with a positive impact with no cussing ( obviously). I got into making music thanks to my friend who goes by K-eX Dragon when we was in high school. I didn’t really have any who believed me and my friend K-eX Dragon did. I learned a lot from him in one year. After, the first year I started performing at different churches and such while in high school still. I didn’t take music serious enough until 2017 and that’s when I decided to become “Mighty Sanchez”. As “Mighty Sanchez” I started to do shows every week in North Carolina for the first year. Which was also the first year of the “Sanchez” brand with a flaming “S” was born as well. The Flaming “S” stood for my salvation because I always burning for Christ wherever as I go and try to be the light and a role model for kids and whoever. You never know what people are going through so my goal with my name and brand let people know what I am here if they need to vent or prayer or advice.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
When a person tells me that my music has helped them get through a rough time or gave them motivation to do something positive. That lets me know that I am on the right path. At the end of the day if my music isn’t helping you then I’m not doing my job.
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
I want to spread positivity and the Gospel through out the world. I also want to show people that anyone can do anything they want to do if they put their minds to it. Rome wasn’t built in the day so just keep pushing and trusting the process
