Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Michelob Williamson. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Michelob thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Do you wish you had started sooner?
I can’t lie, I think of this often. This has been one of the thoughts burning in my mind. Ive been musically inclined my whole life but never really knew what direction to take it or where to begin. Had I known these things sooner I feel like I could be much further with my career. I see all of these you get artists nowadays and just think to myself, where would I be ?

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My name is Michelob Williamson, I go by Logos. I was born in Central Florida and was raised here in Ohio my entire life. I first became involved in music in my adolescent years back 6th grade in 2006 playing trombone in concert band . I continued to play through my high school years and participated in several award winning music programs at William Mason High School I picked up a few other instruments such as guitar. to explore my musical interests. My dream of being a rockstar began. I grew up listening to a lot of Rock and Hip Hop and began writing my own lyrics. Growing up I spent a lot of time alone so music became my friend. I didn’t have the easiest life and still dont, but who does ? Unfortunately forming a band was not as easy as I thought it was going to be so I decided to be a lyricist. I never stayed in one place so I have a lot of different influences from different people and different neighborhoods as well as tastes and I think that my resilience as well as that, are what make me a part from most artists. I don’t really take much pride in anything, so the thing I’m most proud of is holding onto my dream while the world around us is falling apart. That as well as whenever I release a new song, it’s always a great feeling. So my dream? I want to be able to move the world with my music and I want people to feel it. The biggest thing I want people to know about my music and brand, would be that I’m here to stay.

Do you think there is something that non-creatives might struggle to understand about your journey as a creative? Maybe you can shed some light?
I mean Eminem probably did say it best when he said he needs drama in his life to make music. As creatives we do always need some sort of source or muse that drives our music, and sometimes that’s the struggle itself. I may be struggling in my life right now and may not be making the greatest decisions, but I’m following my heart and soul and putting it out there for people every step of the way.
In your view, what can society to do to best support artists, creatives and a thriving creative ecosystem?
Stream our music, If you can’t do anything else then stream our music and share it with people. Find a new upcoming artist that you like and add them to your playlist. We will always have our classics and go to songs, but we gotta make way and make room for the new people. Just give them a chance.
