At Dweewoo Ind and Busi-neer, our mission is rooted in transformation, innovation, and the resilience of the human spirit. Both brands stem from my desire to turn challenges into opportunities and to inspire others to do the same, whether in their personal lives or professional journeys.
This mission holds deep meaning for me because it reflects my life’s journey—a story of navigating adversity, embracing authenticity, and creating impact. Growing up, my mother struggled with mental illness and homelessness, and those formative experiences instilled in me a fierce determination to overcome obstacles and help others find their way.
The loss of my son, Dylan, in 2023 became another defining moment. It was a heartbreak that fueled my resolve to create something meaningful in his honor. Dweewoo Ind emerged as a tribute to his joy and spirit, inspiring a brand that celebrates authenticity and resilience. It focuses on products, messages, and stories that connect people and remind them of their own strength.
On the other hand, Busi-neer represents my passion for helping individuals and businesses navigate challenges and find innovative solutions. With over two decades of experience in the mortgage and real estate industries, I’ve learned how to break down complexities and empower others to reach their goals. My name is Michelle Vaughn, and I’m the founder and CEO of two unique brands: Dweewoo Ind and Busi-neer. With over two decades of experience in the mortgage and real estate industries, I’ve dedicated my career to finding innovative solutions to complex challenges and inspiring others to embrace their authentic selves. My work bridges creativity, strategy, and heart, and is deeply rooted in my personal story.
How I Got Into the Industry
My journey began in the mortgage and real estate world, where I spent over 23 years navigating the intricacies of the industry. I founded my own mortgage brokerage, Paradise Mortgage Brokers, in 2018 and ran it successfully for several years. However, my passion for connecting with people and helping them overcome challenges expanded beyond mortgages and into broader areas of life and business.

Over the years, my reputation has also been shaped by my expertise. With more than two decades in the mortgage and real estate industries, I’ve honed my ability to simplify complex concepts and provide clear, actionable solutions. Whether hosting a Zoom session with industry leaders like Mat Ishbia and Barry Habib or guiding individuals through their personal or professional challenges, I’ve consistently shown that I bring value and insight to the table.
Another major factor is my connection with my audience. With 38,000 followers and millions of monthly views on social media, I’ve created a community that sees me not just as a professional, but as someone relatable, approachable, and willing to share my journey—the highs and the lows. This combination of expertise and authenticity has been instrumental in building a reputation that resonates and endures.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
One of the biggest lessons I had to unlearn was the idea that dimming my light would make others more comfortable. For much of my life, I believed that staying humble and keeping my accomplishments understated was the “right” thing to do. I thought it would help me connect better with others and avoid making anyone feel overshadowed. But in reality, it was holding me back from stepping into my full potential.
The backstory behind this realization ties closely to both my personal and professional journeys. I grew up in challenging circumstances—my mother struggled with severe mental illness, and I had to learn resilience at a young age. These experiences taught me how to navigate tough situations, but they also left me with a habit of minimizing my success to avoid drawing attention or judgment.
That mindset followed me into my career, where I often downplayed my achievements, even as I built a successful mortgage business and developed two thriving brands. It wasn’t until I had a moment of clarity inspired by Kamala Harris’ words, “There are a whole lot of women out here who… are not aspiring to be humble,” that I realized I needed to stop dimming my light.
I began to embrace the idea that shining brightly doesn’t mean I’m taking anything away from others—it means I’m giving them permission to do the same. That shift has allowed me to show up more boldly, share my story unapologetically, and inspire others to step into their own power. It’s a lesson I’ll carry with me forever: our light isn’t meant to be hidden; it’s meant to illuminate the world around us.
