We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Michelle Rosales a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Michelle, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What do you think it takes to be successful?
To be successful means putting in the work. A successful entrepreneur means that the “ideas” won’t make you a successful entrepreneur. Execution is what makes the success.

Michelle, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Michelle Rosales. I am 26 years old. I am the founder of Rosales Transport Group Inc alongside Rosales Dispatching Services Inc. Prior to launching my brokerage firm in the logistics and transportation sector. From working my first job at the age of fifteen working in the labor force. Then to land corporate positions in the financial and insurance sectors while climbing the corporate ladder. I always knew I was born to lead and the true passion to lead was only going to begin once I started my own thing. I have always optimized for learning versus staying in comfort and just “settling”. To become a supply chain and logistics analyst pushed me to launch my business and expand it. Our mission is to relentlessly advocate on behalf of freight owner-operators. For our clients to achieve the highest level of satisfaction and success with our services. To lead the technical development of innovative inventory planning and logistics processes. Help these freight owner-operators earn more by making their lives on the road a bit easier. We customize trip planning to each freight driver that tailors their needs in a strategic way.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
The path of an entrepreneur is not always easy. As the owner of a startup self-funded business. It’s like walking aimlessly in a desert without a map. Being an entrepreneur at such a young age in an industry that’s often viewed as a male-dominated one many times you don’t get taken seriously. As well as being so young leading in such an industry. Nevertheless, I know that this is the product of all the diversity I’ve gone through, to not give up and work hard towards my goals.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
By developing a deep understanding of the industry. To stay updated on the latest trends, technologies. As I say to always remain a student and keep enhancing my knowledge. To keep delivering high quality service to all my clients on a consistent basis. Maintain an open line of communication amongst clients and other companies we move their freight for. Building a strong brand identity that will develop great business relationships and always work to retain them.
