Alright, Michelle thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s talk legacy – what sort of legacy do you hope to build?
My legacy will be to build several billion-dollar companies and create million-dollar companies from those efforts that will change people’s lives and communities. This is accomplished through training, mentorships and workshops
Michelle, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Michelle Lenore Weathersby is a Certified Professional Executive Coach. She is the CEO of Michelle Lenore Enterprises & LENS Consulting Firm that assist large organizations & corporations to grow their minority subcontractor pool so they can reach their annual diversity goals in partnering & collaborating with minority small businesses. She also helps small businesses, like yours, become government-certified and win multi-year, public & corporate multi-million-dollar contracts – all by leveraging the same products or services you’re already selling by presenting a professional presence for sustainable growth within both the government sector and corporate space by using LinkedIn.
During Michelle’s sessions she teaches you how to take your uniqueness and profit off it – on the government’s dime! She focuses on creating opportunities for minority communities to create expertise, confidence and legacy for generational success.
As a strong believer in her faith putting God first in all that she does, Michelle has been able to consistently create profitable partnerships and show other minority & female entrepreneurs what’s possible when they walk in their wealth assignment.



How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
There is a saying that “life happens”. This can occur in many different scenarios with friends, family and work. One of my major pivots in life started in April of 2019 when one of my best friends died, my mother. We had been speaking one week like all the other weeks then my sister said you really need to travel and come and see mom. That was the last conversation we had. She was not sick, so her death came to me as a shock. I began looking at my life and business and knew that I had to be more intentional in everything I was doing from running my business to fostering solid business relations and of course not taking my friends and family for granted.
As I begin to restructure and reevaluate the business another “life happens” occurred and that is when my husband had dropped dead of a heart attack in 2020. He went to work as usual and never returned home. The restructure really began to accelerate to a fever pitch because now my children were looking to me for all of the answers and their support. I looked at where my business was, and it was nowhere near the legacy status I was hoping for, so I begin to look for a business coach and a life coach to help me get there. I had to stop and listen to their direction of what was needed for legacy success.
With their help I have been able to help more businesses to achieve their goals at an accelerated pace as I achieve mine.


Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
One of the best ways that I have found to get great clientele is to do a great job and they will be advertisement and salesperson because they usually want people in their same circle to win just like they are winning. Over deliver in solving their problem and be the ultimate solution.
Also collaboration and partnerships is a sure way to accelerate your business growth and growing your business exposure.
