We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Michelle Legaspi. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Michelle below.
Alright, Michelle thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to hear about a time you helped a customer really get an amazing result through their work with you.
I launched ImageUp Innovations this past spring when I saw the need for businesses to outsource marketing efforts. Not every business is ready for a full-on marketing department. I moved up my launch date because my first client needed help ASAP. He was also launching his new business, yet had NOTHING to do with marketing. What he DID have was the drive to grow his business and serve his clients! What a great reminder that other entrepreneurs out there want to succeed; they just don’t have the time or the know-how to manage their social media.
When this client began seeing more sales following our marketing efforts, we celebrated together.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
Coming from a background in TV journalism & real estate marketing, people in my circle were asking for help promoting their businesses. Finally, I took the plunge and am saying “Yes! Let’s help you look good online and build brand awareness”.
I moved on from the news, but the storyteller in me never left. Writing is my cup of tea. ☕️ I still love hearing peoples’ stories and seeing them light up about their passions. I love the entrepreneurial spirit and know what it’s like to dream big. I aim to have tools ready to help you tell your story and give life to your vision.
I hope people can feel more confident – and get better results – knowing they CAN post more intentional, consistent content. My services are primarily package-based, with a few marketing add-ons. I also offer strategy sessions & monthly coaching for those who want accountability but can manage their own social media.
Lastly, I want to remind people that social media is a long game. It takes time to begin understanding a community, how they interact, and what they like and don’t like. I take time to understand your brand voice inside and out. To gauge ROI, I recommend signing up for my services 3 months at a time. Month 2 is typically where I get a good feel for how my client’s company works, as well as the internal systems and processes. This is where exciting ideas are pitched to boost performance. Then we analyze monthly performance to do more of what’s working!

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
People often ask me how I find business and keep a full pipeline. I’ve been blessed to be able to find new business through word of mouth, my own organic social media posts, and Facebook groups.
A recent example is when a business reached out on Instagram asking for help with social media to drive more online traffic and clients. This prospect stated he was searching for local social media managers. He studied my page and noticed I was actively posting and sharing helpful tips. He found my website easily in the bio and requested a meeting. The next day, we booked a Discovery Call, and I sent a proposal.
This is a prime example of the power in consistently sharing branded, valuable content. Imagine if I hadn’t posted in 2 years. I’d bet this business owner would have lasted 3 seconds on my page. You never know who’s watching. 👀 When people see your page, they’re looking for recent content and signs of life.
My biggest takeaways from this story: get discovered on social media by sharing relevant, descriptive captions and hashtags, as well as keywords in your profile name and bio. Lastly, stay consistent with your branding and niche because as Donald Miller put it, “when you confuse, you lose!”

Have any books or other resources had a big impact on you?
As a solopreneur, I’ve found it’s vital to have systems in place to streamline your processes and focus on income-producing activity. Having systems in place to keep priorities in order is vital. To stay organized as a social media manager, I’ve discovered a few systems and tools to work smarter, not harder.
Bookkeeping either excites or pains people, but it’s an area that CANNOT be overlooked because it’s how we get paid! 💰 I HIGHLY recommend HoneyBook to help streamline and automate sending invoices. It has been worth the investment and made bookkeeping not as dreadful. It operates as a CRM and sends payment reminders so I don’t have to. Clients can choose to automate their payments as well.
