Michelle, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
Michelle talks about how there was a 10-year span of devastating things that happened after leaving her parents’ nest. How life seemed to take a downward spiral, all her childhood dreams of helping people in the community, singing, and teaching other people appeared to be snatched from her because she got into a relationship with an abusive man on drugs. Years of pain, abusive and silent suffering to the point it almost took her life. Michelle talks about how instead of letting it make her bitter she found a way to create a business that was going to be able to help people by being a mediator because she had to represent herself in court to get out of the domestic violence situation, she was trapped in for over a decade.
low-income people with creating contracts, making phone calls for matters that may have been challenging to other people, assisting with child support divorce mediation with the intent to bring legal assistance to those who didn’t have resources. During that time frame Michelle lost her dad to brain cancer. It left her with an emptiness, her goal was always to be successful in what she talked to him about when she was a child, and it was the fire that pushed her to continue to work hard on every aspect of her business until it was successful and really making and impact as well as thriving, not just existing.
Although life hit her on so many levels, she is now the proud owner of Hunters Inc, her parent company. That was changed to SBH Media and Music in 2010 and a decade later Established Zillion Dollar Inc, and Your Voice Matters Sis Non-Profit Organization!

Michelle was pleased that life has now come full circle with the dreams and visions from childhood. Her final conversation with her dad before his passing was, I will make a difference, quotes Michelle, and as she reflected, she felt the need to establish one final business based on her on personal testimony of getting out of an abusive relationship established July 2022. “Your Voice Is Important Sis” A nonprofit business that provides resources for Women in transition from an abusive relationship ready to get back into the workforce.
