Michelle, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Parents play a huge role in our development as youngsters and sometimes that impact follows us into adulthood and into our lives and careers. Looking back, what’s something you think you parents did right?
My parents are African and they consistently demonstrated values in me like kindness, honesty, empathy, and hard work through their actions, actively listening to my thoughts and concerns, providing unwavering support, and encouraging me to be responsible and considerate of others, all while maintaining open communication and setting clear expectations for my behavior,I learned a lot from them and now it’s a blessing to me .
