Michele, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Risk taking is something we’re really interested in and we’d love to hear the story of a risk you’ve taken.
One of the biggest risks I’ve ever taken was leaving my corporate job as a single mom of two, including a child with special needs, to pursue my business full-time. While that decision might seem like a straightforward leap of faith, the backstory leading up to it is anything but simple.
My journey has been marked by uncertainties, setbacks, and moments of deep struggle. There were times when I felt stuck in situations far beyond my control. I’ve been in periods of depression, challenges that forced me to step back and wait, and moments where everything seemed like chaos. I’ve been in dark deep holes that made me feel like I was suffocating. But over time, I’ve learned something profound: chaos isn’t my downfall; it’s my opportunity.
Through these challenges, I’ve become best friends with chaos. Learning to navigate through it has been one of the greatest transformations of my life. Instead of resisting the messiness of life, I began to embrace it. I came to see that chaos doesn’t have to be the end. Chaos can be the beginning of something beautiful. This perspective has not only fueled my personal growth, but it has also shaped my business, which is why my slogan is, “Where Organizing Chaos is an Art.”
During those dark times, I was forced to face myself to grow, to rediscover my worth, and to find peace in my faith. My relationship with God became my anchor. Trusting in His timing gave me the strength to believe that no matter how uncertain life seemed, I was going to be okay. I also learned that growth doesn’t come from comfort zones. It comes from taking risks, letting go of fear, and embracing the chaos of stepping into the unknown.
Leaving my corporate job was one of the scariest decisions of my life. It was my safety net – a steady paycheck, health insurance for my kids, the predictable path society encourages us to follow. But deep down, I knew it wasn’t where I was meant to stay. I had spent years building MEESH Agency as a side project. Month by month, it grew, and so did the signs nudging me toward taking the leap. Still, walking away from that stability felt like staring down an abyss. What if I failed? What if I ended up back in the dark place, I worked so hard to get out of?
Ultimately, I realized that fear couldn’t be the thing driving my decisions. I reminded myself of the growth, self-love, and faith I had cultivated through all the uncertainties and challenges. I couldn’t let fear hold me back because I didn’t just want to survive – I wanted to thrive.
Since making the decision to go all-in on my business, my life has transformed. MEESH Agency has grown beyond my expectations, and I now have the freedom and flexibility to be there for my children while living out my passion. But even more importantly, I’ve proven to myself that when we embrace chaos, it can evolve into something extraordinary.
This risk has taught me that society’s limits and even our circumstances don’t have to define us. The chaos I once feared is now what fuels me, driving my mission to help others organize their own chaos and create systems that simplify their lives. Taking risks like this isn’t just about chasing a goal. It’s about opening yourself up to growth, trusting the journey, and turning life’s messiness into something meaningful.

My name is Michele, and I’m the founder & CEO of MEESH Agency, a project management and event planning boutique agency dedicated to transforming chaos into clarity and empowering businesses to achieve their goals.
My path to this industry is deeply personal by a journey defined by resilience, faith, and a relentless passion for helping others succeed. Before launching MEESH Agency, I spent years in the corporate and freelancing world, honing my skills in operations, fashion, and marketing.
