Micha’el , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s talk legacy – what sort of legacy do you hope to build?

The Young family tree comes from a long line of fashion minds going all the way back to my great grandfather all the way down to my generation. My family tradition shaped by generations of creativity, skill, and a shared vision. During the pandemic I saw an opportunity to carry that torch forward, it’s a powerful continuation of my family heritage. So, it came to me during the pandemic and to include the Young last name in the business. That’s how I came up with the name Styled By Young LLC.
None of my family members before me with their deep roots in fashion and style never thought about starting a family business that could be passed down by generations. Which would have left a legacy for the next generations to come. Now that I started Styled by Young LLC my goal is to continue the style and fashion with a business to teach my kids, niece, nephews, cousin etc. So, when I get older and ready to retire. It will be ready for the next generation to keep the ball rolling.

Micha’el , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

Fashion has always been deeply woven into the fabric of my family’s story, beginning with my great-grandfather, who always wore tailoring suits His attention to detail, commitment to quality, and belief in putting on pieces that outlast trends inspired my great grandfather, who furthered the family’s reputation. My grandfather carried on the tradition, which was passed down to my uncles. That passion for style and craftsmanship has now reached my generation. Growing up, I was immersed in the artistry and precision of fashion and style. Learning not just the technical aspects but also the spirit of dedication that has been passed down. This legacy is as much about family as it is about fashion—creating, preserving, and innovating together.

We specialize in creating tailored suits and formal wear that balance tradition with modern elegance. Our offerings include custom suits, shirts, and accessories, each crafted with impeccable attention to detail. We cater to clients who appreciate quality craftsmanship and seek pieces that are uniquely their own. Beyond fashion, our work is about providing a sense of confidence and style, helping our clients feel empowered, whether in the boardroom, at a wedding, or on a special night out.

’m proud to carry my family’s legacy forward and to continue the tradition of craftsmanship that started generations ago. Seeing clients return year after year, sometimes with their own sons or daughters, is incredibly rewarding. It reaffirms that what we’re doing resonates on a deeper level and creates connections that extend beyond the clothes themselves.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?

The blend of personal connection, brand authenticity, and strategic positioning tends to work exceptionally well with my clients. The fact that I give my client a free 20-minute consultation helps out a lot and give them the opportunity to decide if they want to utilize my services before they have to spend their money.
Also, we’re very consistent Showcasing our designs and styles insights on Instagram and Facebook, which are excellent for us reaching both business professionals and style enthusiasts. We show High-quality photos, customer testimonials, and styling tips resonate well on both platforms.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

We work hard at keep our clients happy with good customer service. Our module is with 100% satisfied clients they’re often eager to refer friends and colleagues to the Styled by Young brand. When our clients feel proud to wear our pieces. Also, with my community service work I do in the inner city of Philadelphia. Helps me build up my brand reputation.
