We were lucky to catch up with Michael Oliva recently and have shared our conversation below.
Michael , appreciate you joining us today. Let’s jump back to the first dollar you earned as a creative? What can you share with us about how it happened?
My first dollar came from selling my first album back in Michigan almost 9 years ago, called: “M.O.tivation”
Michael , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
M.O.Music 31yrs old, born in Dallas, TX raised in Laingsburg/Lansing, MI & now reside in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I’ve been making music since I was 15-16 years old with my younger brother Josh. Started taking it more serious after graduating highschool in 2010. Met Cracka Lack and the rest was history. I OD’d of Xanax and Alcohol in April about 7 years ago now and made the move to Albuquerque to get away from a lot that was going on back home in Michigan. I got introduced to my guy Aeros Independent Studios located here in Old Town in Albuquerque & furthered my career as a recording artist. I’ve worked with Main Stream Artists like Bubba Sparxxx, Bezz Believe & Tuki Carter & I am also affiliated with the Major Record Label Quality Control or “QC” based in Atlanta, Georgia.

We’d love to hear your thoughts on NFTs. (Note: this is for education/entertainment purposes only, readers should not construe this as advice)
Not a big fan tbh. Rather invest in myself with other area’s of my craft. Maybe in the future though.
Looking back, are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?
