We recently connected with Michael Molsbee and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Michael thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?
I have been doing heating and air for 15 years. I had always dreamed of owning my own company. When my wife and I discussed the possibility of starting our own company, we talked about how we would be different from other companies that offer the same service. I am a veteran, so we came up with the idea of how we could seek out and employ other veterans. A lot of veterans, when they get out of the service, do not have a trade. It is a dream of ours to help veterans move into a career where they can provide for their family and earn a good living.
Currently, it is just my son and me, but we hope to make this dream a reality.

Michael, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Honestly, I fell into heating and air by accident. After leaving the service, I was thrown into civilian life with no plan. Not a lot of career paths for a guy who’s great with a rifle. So I turned to family, my grandfather in particular, to help me find a job. Lucky for me, he had friends in the right places, and that’s where my heating and air journey began. I did my apprenticeship at Tinker Air Force Base, where I learned from some of the best technicians that money can buy.
After meeting my wife, I moved to Tulsa and worked for a local HVAC company in the Tulsa metro area until the COVID-19 pandemic hit. During COVID, I took a job out of state until God blessed us with another little boy, and my wife said it was time to come home. We then decided it was time to take a chance and give our dream of owning our own company a shot.
We pride ourselves on our competitive pricing and outstanding warranty.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
We feel that our pricing is very competitive. We are out here to make a living, not to price gauge customers. I could never go to sleep at night and sleep peacefully charging what some of the larger companies charge. I understand that with a larger company you have a larger overhead, but there has to be a balance.

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
Honestly, word of mouth has been our greatest source of new clientele. Going above and beyond for each and every customer has increased our customer base tenfold. All because we won’t stop until the customer is satisfied.
