Hi Michael , thanks for joining us today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
Our journey starts on the illustrious Benedict College campus back in 2017. I would take my peers , mostly international students to the surrounding areas. One day I found myself having around $250 dollars in my bank account, well we all know in college that’s like having two thousand. I then started to remember where all this money came from, oh I’ve been giving rides out & getting paid, now it’s starting to add up. I then sat on the ideal until around 2019, I saw other rides, & I drove with the two well known and saw there wasn’t a real care for drivers. Understanding the industry of Rideshare & the growth of It, I took the biggest risk of them all, dropped out of college and decided to dedicate my life purpose to bringing “MyD.D. Rideshare” alive. The logic of my company is simple. Only charge people the exact amount of where they’re going, nothing more or less. My mindset was with this as the key factor, we needed one more to not just grab people attention, but convert them over to drivers and riders. Then It hit me, I never needed or wanted all the money, just wanted to make sure me and mines are well off. I decided since I know the life of a true Rideshare driver, I know how horribly we’re charged & how bad the drivers are paid ! I told myself, make sure drivers get 90% of their pay. Those two traits is what will be the opening benefits of the company. As time went out, I added a couple more power play benefits, as such, the price won’t change from day to night, if it’s 10min or 30 min for you get to work then It will always cost $10 or $30. Now many people don’t have to worry bout a price increase just b/c it’s a certain day or time when they’re needing a ride. Also specifically for the women, now a woman rider can request a woman driver. Fast word I did the Chinese effect, go public for 3 months see how the world reacts to It. The numbers where shocking , with over 8,000 drivers around the world & around 5,000 riders, we saw profit as a company all off the $3 cash out fee, which is what comes directly to me. Wanting to be better and more put together this time around, currently we’re creating a new updated Version & will be going back live in all 50 states & countries in the next 60 days What makes this whole ideal give me the excitement that I can fall in love with, is its true purpose, helping others bring more Income into their homes & getting families , friends & strangers an consistent opportunity to better their lives.

I got Into the rideshare industry while being college in 2017 at at the illustrious Benedict College here in Columbia, South Carolina where I’m from. The craft of the business is being a service to others & them showing their mutual gratitude for you giving them a service. Here at MyD.D. Rideshare, we solve a couple important problems. 1.) Drivers now get paid their worth. 2.) Riders now are fairly charged for the amount of distance they want to go. 3.) Women are protected directly with one of our preferred features. 4.) The rates are all built on being consistent for the riders and the pay out is the same for the drivers. Lastly, our drivers are double covered with personal and commercial insurance. Our slogan here is “Driven by the people For the people” !

Can you open up about how you funded your business?
The funding for MyD.D. Rideshare come strictly for 3 main sources. The 1st being myself working 9 to 5. The second being angel donations from strangers, family and friends who simply wants to see me become successful. Lastly the source of the money came from driving and taking rides in my personal car.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
When It came to building my company , social media has and will always play the biggest part. I would create ads through Cava.com and make daily post on IG and Facebooks, after what felt like years to come, we went viral first on Facebook with over 25K plays for just one ad reel. Then we triple that and went viral again with over 66K plays on Tik Tok. Lastly, we had over 500 shares on Facebook, which definitely became the local engagement & support that was needed!
