We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Michael Latona II a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Michael thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Has Covid resulted in any major changes to your business model?
COVID has not only changed my business model , but all retailers. E-commerce and digital marketing have become extremely important during 2020. So when Latona Lifestyle launched during the Fall of 2021, I knew I wanted to have a strong presence online to stay relevant in the digital ages.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
It all started in the Summer of 2021, I was at the Jersey shore with my best friends and my now-girlfriend, Gabriella.
We kept seeing tee-shirt shops with funny sayings on them. I received an email saying that I was everyone’s cup of tea and Gabriella said you should put that on a tee-shirt. That was when Latona Lifestyle Brand was born! I decided as CEO and Founder to create a lifestyle brand that represented me and all the things I love like fitness, traveling, and being Italian
Latona Lifestyle Brand is all about being true to one’s self.
Our designs are versatile enough to take you from the gym right through to brunch. You can’t go wrong with Latona Lifestyle. It’s a blogger as well as personal trainer approved. If that’s not a seal of endorsement, then we are not sure what is.
We at Latona Lifestyle, aim to offer our customers a successful way of living, and we lead by example with premium products, and eye-catching designs. We seek to inspire, guide, and motivate you with the goal of our products contributing to making you feel and look good as you go about your life.
Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
The most effective strategy for growing my clientele has been social media. Instagram has been really played a major part in getting the word out for Latona Lifestyle.
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
I believe that social media has helped us build our reputation within the appeal market. It is definitely very competitive! When you believe in the quality of your product, it gives you the adrenaline to keep pushing.
